Grand Theft Auto VI is confirmed to be $80

The problem is that Dan Houser wasn't just 'any' writer. He supervised all the previous games - he was the lead creative director. It was his singular vision that held the team together and made the games great.

Take him away and what do we have left?
::sailor-embarrassedAI aaandd "great writers" like in the latest game of Saint's row ::linkmouthcover::homerscream

Even if the game doesn't live up to earlier entries, which I think it will, I still think it will become the most successful video game of all time. Probably by a significant margin as well.

Can't say I am hyped in any way for that game. Them going for realism and cinematic bollox in 4 and 5 kind of ruined the games for me. I still enjoy driving around 4s liberty city and 5's los santos. Luckily there are other things coming out. The whole "Shops exclusive to ultimate edition" pushes the hype into the negative for me.

I might pick it up in a year or two when it's on sale or a key site is trying to clear out inventory or whatever.

It depends on who you ask and I'm willing to bet that a significant amount of players really only care for the massive sandbox or GTA online and not so much for the writing.

You can pry on about the quality of the humor and writing all you like (for a game you haven't even played yet) but bottom line, again, the main attraction and the core audience want the world, destruction, modding cars, fishing so on and so forth.

Everything else is just greed.

He will possibly be will probably be quite average with The same structural mission problem as the GTA 5 and Also a colossal map with nothing on it.
But obviously it will still sell like crazy.
:V

i'm glad i simply killed my interest in this entry a long time ago

first, because i won't pay this absurd price (well, even if i wanted, i don't have this much money)
second, my computer won't be able to run it.

better to continue with San Andreas mods, or play IV.

but yes, sadly, this one and nintendo will make it to be the new standart price... other companies will certainly follow them (including the dumb sega)

I'm sure that this game will sell well, no matter the price, just because it's GTA.

It really doesn't matter. Even if the story and writing are dogshit, most players won't care, let alone notice it.
