A lot doesn't mean everything.
I'd argue that in its time Twilight Princess was already a modern version of Ocarina of Time and it's still one of the most beloved entries in the franchise.
More recently BotW which is a new take on the formula and has gotten great ratings and many players liked it.

The Art of Vengeance is a well received entry I don't see the issue.
There's nothing wrong with pixel art if the art style is interesting.
I dont think you really think that if something it's popular it means it's good
About Zelda, I dont care much for the 3d games so I cant say much about twilight princess, but I dont have a problem with doing new stuff with an old genre or series in itself, with modernizing
God Hand turned Final Fight in a ps2 games and I love it! The problem is remake culture, modernising now means homogenising (finally spelled it right), making everything the same, no artistic integrity nothing that can alienate or offend nuthin, it's dull
It's kinda like making fast food out of mozzarella, or radio friendly songs feeling all the same, or making a hollywood remake of a cult movie
