Yeah some of the minigames are impossible without it like the annoying flying minigame that heavily relies on it or the Tifa squat minigame that requires a lot of effort to beat and the amount of times that haptic feedback has made it waaaaaaaaay harder than it should be. I don't mind it normally but with how much minigames there are to do if you are aiming for 100% completion, it's only gonna make it much more of a pain than needed. I personally don't hate Rebirth though, I do have good things to say but the minigames and side quests do be insane at times and especially the Treasure Trove insanity.I have that "haptic feedback" stuff turned off on my PS5 controller because I hate it. It makes me feel like my controller is broken. What I didn't realise, is that makes some minigames in FF VII Rebirth practically impossible to finish! I guess because they were designed around that feature?
I really liked Rebirth, but it could be a pain in the ass! It also let you start some side quests that you couldn't finish until MUCH later in the main story.
You could be doing absolutely everything right in a SRPG, and one enemy crit can ruin everything. I feel that one!
I pretty much agree with everything you said about Rebirth!Yeah some of the minigames are impossible without it like the annoying flying minigame that heavily relies on it or the Tifa squat minigame that requires a lot of effort to beat and the amount of times that haptic feedback has made it waaaaaaaaay harder than it should be. Also as someone who plays more FE than anyone should, the amount of enemy crits that have ruined is always a big no as I try to do the perfect run and save everyone possible in-game lol.
Playing Dark Souls 2 way too young to appreciate led to a broken controller and a lot of new chores for me from my parents. That and every God Of War platforming while being shot by stunlocking bullshit segment. I don't know how i beat the GoW's without snapping my PS2 over my knee.
Do you remember what part it was?that's my friend exactly while he was playing gow2. Had never seen him that angry at a video game
It was a little later on the game when Kratos got wings and had to fly on some temple. Also coupled with the endless enemies he had to kill with minimum life barDo you remember what part it was?
How people say Knight is the best while Origins is the worst will forever baffle me. Like I understand people loving City, that game's great, but Knight is just one of the most underbaked barebones video games I've ever played, the entire thing feels like it's perpetually stuck in first-act mode.Anytime Batman: Arkham Knight forced me to engage with the Batmobile in any way shape or form.
Also, the 5 billion pointless DLC additions Arkham Knight had
I can agree that Knight's story is pretty weak. I still really enjoy it from a gameplay standpoint though. I also seem to be one of the few people that really likes the Batmobile, but I can understand the criticism. City will always be my favourite, although it's been too long since I've played Asylum & Origins. How people say Knight is the best while Origins is the worst will forever baffle me. Gotham Knights was pretty underrated, considering how many people seem to hate it. I still really want to try out Gotham Knights in co-op though. Planning out and executing an Arkham-style stealth section with another person through voice chat sounds like so much fun!The only thing I loved about Arkham Knight was the ability to do stealth and combat sections with two characters and that one DLC that let us play as Batgirl. It's the worst Arkham game and even Gotham Knights is a better game.
It still disappoints me a bit that Gotham Knights wasn't set in the Arkham-verse. Change some of the story around, and it could've easily worked as a follow-up to Arkham Knight. Plus, everybody was fun to play as! I definitely remember spending the first 5-10 hours just ignoring the story and stopping crimes. Granted, those crimes would repeat after a while. I do remember the bike being pretty good.Yeah, Gotham Knights really is underappreciated. We got to play as other characters besides Batman for the whole game, and they each had elements that made them different. We also FINALLY got a populated Gotham City. I like how the game actually put a focus on controlling crime in the city which was always just a background thing in the Arkham games. You go out at night in Gotham Knights and actually patrol like any good Batman character is SUPPOSED to do. Also, I found the vehicles had far better handling than the Batmobile in Arkham City.
