How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man? NO PREORDERS!Confess your own gaming sins, mistakes, or regrets that you made. It could be something small or big, there's nothing to be ashamed of.
I'll start with my own confession, I pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077.
Not... Bad? Could be worse.I found $20 on the ground and used it to buy Bioshock Infinite.
Did you had them?I actually believed the Sega CD and 32X were good things to have.
I hated that game so much. It was the game that made me completely ignore reviews.Not... Bad? Could be worse.
My Condolences. But get a old pc, slap together a Easy2Boot usb with OS of your choice. install. ???. profit? My regret is that I gave away my old 90s PC.
Yeah I had them growing up. Being a Sega person, I actually believed, as a kid, that Sega knew best, like momma. How deluded I was.Did you had them?
I was like that with Street Fighter 2 on the MD versus the SNES version with most of my friends LOL. To be fair it was more Capcom's fault than the MD's fault.I was adamant the Wii version of Dead Rising was better than the 360 version because I didn’t want to admit I was jealous of my 360-having friends.
Reminds me of the AVGN review of the Sega 32x, he said that with the Sega CD it looked like the system was on life support...Yeah I had them growing up. Being a Sega person, I actually believed, as a kid, that Sega knew best, like momma. How deluded I was.
It pretty much was. It was Sega trying to ride on the coattails of a new tech to appear bleeding edge. It's the kind of thinking that gave us the Philips CDI too.Reminds me of the AVGN review of the Sega 32x, he said that with the Sega CD it looked like the system was on life support...

Looks familiar. The only way this could be any worse is if it were a live fire hazard like the GX4000.kinda...

Riiiiight, AVGN also did a Philips CDI review, was it the system with the weird licensed Zelda games? It pretty much was. It was Sega trying to ride on the coattails of a new tech to appear bleeding edge. It's the kind of thinking that gave us the Philips CDI too.
Let's go (?)Buying a bootleg copy of Age of Empires 3 on a sidewalk booted it only to find out that’s a Hen—- game.
Correct. If memory serves, Nintendo shimmied out of the deal with Sony (which would have given us the Nintendo Playstation, I guess, a CD addon for the SNES), and tried to work something out with Philips instead. I figured they saw the junk the thing was and decided to lease out some IPs for Philips just so it felt like the deal didn't fall through completely.Riiiiight, AVGN also did a Philips CDI review, was it the system with the weird licensed Zelda games?
Yup, and 3 Zelda Games, Wand of Gamalon, Faces of Evil and Zeldas AdventureRiiiiight, AVGN also did a Philips CDI review, was it the system with the weird licensed Zelda games?
