Games You Finished in 2026

Beat down fists of vengeance (PS2)

Not a bad beat em up but good for a 6 hour play through
I give it 6/10

That one I could never get into, nor like. Urban Reign is better. Also this:

I managed a no death run of Spike Out: Final Edition. I used White. I have not played this game since the early 2000s. It's nice to have this game on disc, even though I had to buy Pirate Yakuza to play it. Good news, I got Pirate Yakuza on sale, so it's not like a paid full price. Back on topic, the game is pretty much 3D Streets of Rage 4, but not in name. There are at least two character analogues to Axel and Blaze. This game is the most late 90s SEGA Arcadey game ever made by SEGA. The game has alternate paths it does not tell you and you have to figure out on your own. You can go up to 4 player, but make sure you have the equal amount of controllers to how many you have with you. The game will split into different and smaller square screens, so I suggest playing this on big screen, if you got it. I'll probably do a different character run later on.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

By far the weakest of all the mainline games, including the 2016 remake which gets a lot of undeserved hate. I could write an essay on all of the things wrong with Rift Apart. It completely squanders its potential with the alternate dimension stuff as the game only focuses on ONE alternate dimension. The rift tether is also a lazy, uninspired game mechanic that the game never does anything interesting with. Rivet is a completely missed opportunity. She looks and plays EXACTLY like Ratchet. What is the point of a new playable character if she is just a clone of Ratchet?

The game is missing so many classic elements from previous games. There's hardly any mini-games except for hacking with Glitch and those segments are absolutely DREADFUL. There's barely any puzzle solving. There is little in the way of gadgets. The weapons are tame and lack the over the top wackiness of previous games. The combat arena is totally not fun which is a travesty in a Ratchet and Clank game. There's also very few actual arena challenges. It feels like an afterthought.

You spend 80% of the game fighting the same obnoxious Nefarious robots over and over and over and over and over again. And you get tired of those cheap long range ones hitting you from a football field away with their obnoxious lasers. The game also has like four mini bosses that it keeps recycling over and over again throughout the game.

The game is full of bugs, at least on PC. And the PC version has terrible audio problems. Absolutely garbage port.

I think it's time to retire this series. As more and more time goes by the Sly Cooper series is really emerging as the better series when compared to Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter.

Duke Nukem 3D and its expansions (+ one nice mod).

Mega Man The Willy Wars (the Three games + Willy Tower).

Just beat Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix on Critical last night. Wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, only took 16 hours. I was able to beat Sephiroth, but still need to get to lvl 99 for the data organization fights. Thinking of doing a playthrough of Popful Mail afterwards. Also still playing through Dynasty Warrios 8 XL, Stranger of Sword City, and Atlier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout.

My updated list

1. Metroid Prime 4
2. Sonic Crossworlds Racing
3. Finding Dragons
4. Slots & Daggers
5. Wario World
6. Age of Mythology Retold
7. Sonic Adventure 2 Randomizer
8. Mario Kart Double Dash!! Randomizer

The randomizers were done with archipelago, actually did SA2 twice, once by myself and a second time as part of a group. Both times the Hammer Gloves for Knuckles was the last item I needed.

Holy hell, that took A LOT of time. But I've finally beat. And didn't disappointed me.

Sure, some units at a certain parts (but predicatbly, since most of Fire Emblem games are all like that) become irrelevant during the story. Like, it mostly focuses on the characters you see here and the laguz. But for that there's always Radiant Dawn and any support conversation I've naturally missed.

It will take time before I get into its sequel since I felt a little burned out, but the gameplay was top notch. I wish I would have enjoyed it back at the times when it was fresh newer considering the outrageous price it is sold nowadays at any online/flea market.
