Mainly STALKER GAMMA (attempting the Invictus challenge), Portal Revolution, Lolipop Chainsaw and Shadow Hearts 2 (though I may drop them both, got a bit bored) and KOF WING M.U.G.E.N 2022 from time to time.

Will let you know once I stop revealing maps and actually go through Nashkel.
Well, I did that. And then I ran through Cloakwood. And then I ran through the Cloakwood Mine. I am presently at the Friendly Arm identifying everything from that excursion (I am using the Tweaks Anthology component that mystifies all gems/jewelry and potions) and rejigging the party.

That component is the reason why I ran Garrick for most of the game up to this point, though I left him behind to bring Coran along with me as a secondary archer DPS (my Charname is an Archer kit), and who also slotted in as a replacement for Imoen (who I left behind to slot in Kagain for dat shorty tank). Non-kit Bards get a bad rap in BG, but the ubiquity of enemy casters with Horror makes a decent case to keep one around. If they could handle traps they'd make for a proper all-in-one utility class.

The current composition is:
  • Charname: Archer Kit. I was an idiot and slotted shortbow for my gigabulked (18/77) elf, though I still enjoy a hearty 3 THAC0 at level 6. I might rejig him with an editor before importing him to BG2, assuming I ever get there.
  • Kagain.
  • Minsc. There's a component within Tweaks that gives thieves a disarm feat, which I was able to use to pick Twinkle (-2 AC) off of Drizzt. I gave that to Minsc, along with a a hearty selection of heavy armor and he's now down to -4 (-5 if I wanted) AC.
  • Yeslick.
  • Coran. He's getting all the nice longbows because they're wasted on me.
  • Neera. Surprisingly reliable despite the wild mage thing. Now that she's got level 3 spells in the book I get to gamble with fireballs.
The fight with Davaeorn was more difficult than it had any business being. It's an actual wakeup call about handling mages instead of bum-rushing them with Minsc and arrows.

Going through FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald to get a living dex, while working on Pokemon Black post game to get to Pokemon Black 2 and work on a living dex there by moving everything from FR/LG up. Then do the same for Ultra Sun, and over to Pokemon Home. Hopefully before they shut down the transporter.

When I'm bored with all that I'm working on Trails in the Sky on PSP since, thanks to this wonderful community, the Japanese patched version of the 3rd is now available to me. Also .hack//Link. And when I'm really feeling out of sorts I'll slowly work on my Lies of P and Romeo is a Dead Man on the big screen.

I'm currently playing Genshin Impact. I will play it through, no matter how long it takes.

I've been playing Skullgirls 2nd Encore, and I recently beat all the story modes.

I've never been much of a fan of fighting games because I'm really bad at them, but even so, this has to be one of the ones I've enjoyed the most. I still play it occasionally, either by myself or with friends.
Playing it on PC by the way.

I remember getting into Skullgirls way back in high school and playing on the 360 and ps3. I hadn't ever been crazy about fighting games before, but Skullgirls was my gateway drug. A friend of mine got me into it and I remember writing full combo notes in a little notebook and watching tournament vods in computer class lol. It's a very special game that I think I might get back into as well. But yeah there's lots to love about it from the lore to the gameplay, sound design, music, art design, and passionate community surrounding it. It's a truly lovely game from bottom to top. Enjoy it!

I've been playing a lot of Dragon ball FighterZ, Blazblue Central Fiction and some Street Fighter 6, it's my first time getting in to fighting games and I've gone a little off the deep end. I've been enjoying them WAY too much, normally I'm the type of person to play RPGs or generally stick to games that are more like what Mabinogi used to be back in the day. I feel like I've gone down a rabbit hole! Now I'm obsessed with them!

In between that I'm messing around on Conan Exiles RP and emulating PSP stuff.

FighterZ was the first one I sunk into and actually learned. I never got amazing, but pretty good for me. I haven't jumped in on a Blazblue because I went the Guilty Gear Strive route. I tried to come back to FighterZ but it has changed so much it seems like I would have to damn near re-learn the game. Still think it's the best looking fighter game, idc if it's just nostalgia bleeding in.

Any chance you'll hit GG Strive when 2.0 drops? Or perhaps Tokon?

I definitely want to get both, I'm just kinda sticking with what I got at the moment because it's a little overwhelming. It's a huge learning curve for me! What do you think of the new Avatar fighting game that's coming? Everyone I've talked too so far seems to think it's going to be good I'll probably pick that up too! ::neku-jam

Quick addednum to the post I made earlier:

I decide to re-visit my most hated GTA game because I felt I never gave it a real chance.
Now put down the pitchforks as I name which one, I'll explain...

GTA IV.

Hated it when it came out. Thought the driving was god awful, had a horrible time with GFWL (Remember that mess? God that shit never worked) and had underpowered hardware.

For years I hated it, never gave it another look until recently when I saw a video on GTA and saw it running well - thinking maybe I should give it another go.

And man, I get it now. I really do.
The handling is still weird, but since I am very much older, more experienced and having sim racing experience under my belt, I see what it was trying to do and find the physics workable now - tho the sheer lack of brakes still baffles me.

There's so much here I just completely wrote off due to circumstances at the time.
I'll try to do a complete playthrough. The story has been spoiled to me already, but I feel I owe it to the game.

...Naturally I downgraded the version I have on hand to get the original songs back lmao.

Big feels on the learning curve. =\ It's crazy watching people who have been playing fighting games for a long time break down a new game.

I forgot, the Avatar fighting game looks really good too. ::nervous-prinny I have no idea which one to go in on and I don't think I'll have the capacity to learn more than one more fighting game at a time.

I'm currently playing Ico (European version) for PS2. I never got very far on the NA version all those years ago and I've heard that the Euro version is best. I'm about 1 1/2 hours into it so far and having a blast.

I'm also playing GTA: San Andreas for PS2 v1. I realized that v3 isn't supported by retroachievements after playing with that save file for the last few years!!! ::angrygenjin Now I have to get past the dance off at the beach. It's so much harder in v1! ::badpc

Looks cool, but what's this about Canuck lies? Interesting seal of quality...

I have done it, I have entered Baldur's Gate (the city, have been playing the game for a while).

It's a big city, but only by comparison. It feels like each quadrant that I visit is smaller than Beregost, but each quadrant just has more stuff going on. More stores, at least, but nothing really all that wild. Such is the curse of being an adventure limited to a small level range (which is a very gold box thing to do).

Playing Torchlight 2, mignt do a og Diablo playthrough as well.

Replaying Cyberpunk 2077. It's comforting, in a 'nothing matters' kind of way.

The rules of this thread are simple: Post what video game you're currently playing, what platform you're playing it on, and what you think of it. Feel free to comment on the choices of your fellow members, too.

I'll begin: I just finished my second playthrough of Castle Quest on Gameboy (and by "Gameboy", I mean the Delta emulator on my iPhone), and had a blast doing so! This game is a really neat combination of chess and War (the card game), and makes a great series of little strategy puzzles whenever you have a few minutes to spare. I've beaten both this version and the original on NES before (the Gameboy one is preferable, as it has more content), but I found out through The Cutting Room Floor that there's actually a secret level I never knew about, so that was justification enough for another go. Highly recommended!

I've also been trying to 1CC the NES version of Castlevania for the past several months, and by golly, is it ever hard! This is the only CV game I've played extensively, and while I like to think I'm getting better at it – I just beat Death without using the holy water, score! – I can't defeat Dracula's first form without losing all my lives. The game is very fun, but I can only do two or three run-throughs a day before I feel my life force being drained out of me – which, being a game about vampires, I suppose is the point.

(Finally – I get to be the one posting this thread topic on a new forum! I'll accept my congratulations in the form of gold or NVIDIA stock. ::banana)
Hello ! I'm currently in a SRW phase !
I'm playin' A Portable (PSP), Y (Switch) and W on DS

I am currently mainly focused on Lunar Eternal Blue for the Sega CD and I am playing it on my RG35XXSP. Lunar 2 for the PS1 is one of my top 5 games of all time and experiencing the Sega CD version has been a fascinating and fun trip. Frankly it has much darker visuals (the vision in the first scene literally has the moon bleeding as giant fingers gouge into it) and the translation is different to reflect that (Althena's priesthood is outright called a cult from the beginning by the main character's grandpa).

Playing the hacked "UnWorked" version cause all caps writing would hurt my eyes. Gameplay wise this hack seems to have made it a little too easy for my liking but still enjoyable.

I also tried out last night a PC indie game called Forgotten Anna that I'm playing on my Odin 2 via Gamenative. It's like playing a classic Miyazaki movie; visuals, music and voice acting are amazing, though gameplay is very simple.

I'm playing tf out of NieR Replicant. But all I'm currently doing is going back and forth between two areas trying to spawn a monster to level grind.
