I was playing a bit of NFS: The Run.
I felt like the game hated me, so the damn game kept closing on its own.
Why? I dunno.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli - PC
Romeo Is A Dead Man - PC

GGC is fun, shooting zombies, gangsters, and military dudes in a hand drawn 2D side scrolling style

Romeo Is A Dead Man is a damn trip, Suda51 game, just batshit crazy. But it's fun as hell.

Apparently, I will be playing RE9: Requiem as of about Monday. I finally ordered my first OLED monitor, got it 200 bucks off normal price AND it came with a special offer for a free download of RE9. (code is emailed two days after it ships) SO, yep. I wasn't expecting that, and given what Crapcom did to RE4 Remake by trading Denuvo drm for skeevy Russian DRM with an even worse performance impact I had no intention to buy it at all.

But free is free. Less of a loss for me if in three or so years they mess up the performance.

resident evil 2, my playthrough with Claire has concluded, a long while ago Leon run has given me such a hard time, but I was able to clear the game with him, as for my next "games", they will be : re2r dlc's, re7 dlc's, and re8 dlc's, in preparation for re9

Resident Evil Requiem - I am loving this! I do love how the character switching is done. Leon is so much fun! God I missed you!

I finished Grace's first major section, and did the second Leon section. I do wish his sections were a little longer (that might change the further into the game I get), but I get the point. His areas are more so catharsis, but can be challenging. A detail I've noticed a lot of people aren't saying, is that Capcom actually brought back the zapping system. If you leave items or enemies around (or if you didn't permanently kill the zombies), then Grace/Leon will encounter them later depending on where you go and/or the next designated path.

Currently I'm replaying the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War series again. Got the definitive edition and it's been amazing so far.

Hey you know what, I've been playing one of the most awesome PSP mini games on PPSSPP, Who's that Flying, for some time. It's a hybrid of Shoot Em Up/Tower Defense, which is also a twist where you instead of dying when get hit, it's the city that has the "health bar" that you must protect and stop many evil enemies slip past you to the left side of the screen. I also kinda made a self-imposed challenge 1-life only attempting to score more than 500.000 in the survival mode of each level but i only did more than 200.000, these enemies are too smarter and seem to have a huge brainer than the humans of the game! :devilish: Somehow i've been able to score more than 2,000,000 score on each level of survival mode, just how hard this game is, and i managed to achieve it with my recently bought HORI Fighting Commander OCTA. Wouldn't you be interested in this game and it's survival mode to make more than 2,000,000 score mark?

I've never actually played Alundra for the PS1, so I just started that. It's pretty fun so far!

RE Requiem - I am at the part where you go to Racoon City, and man is this Leon's longest section, so I got my wish.

baldur's gate with the EET mod

playing a gnome fighter/illusionist dual wielding flails. with all of these defensive spells stacked, he basically can't get hit.

I got back into Ninja Gaiden 4 and the free DLC. The DLC missions are fun, but you only get three missions, and the final boss is ass. It has stupid one hit kill you barely have half a second to react to. I had no choice but use items. I am not coming back to that mission anytime soon. The new weapons Yakumo and Ryu get are bad ass.

No Ayane in the DLC, but I am not surprised in the slightest. The Abyss Road is basically the Ninja Gaiden equivalent of Bloody Palace. There also new trial missions added to the game. Both of these can only be unlocked after you beat the DLC. So it's worth it to the DLC at least once.

I haven't been in the mood for gaming recently since college has been taking most of my mind, but one game that I've tried out a bit is Little Noah: Sicon of Paradise.

I thiink the game is quite okay on it's own, the gameplay mechanics remind me a bit of a mobile game I used to play named Crusaders Quest

The story is alright, but too typical for me to be truly inmersed into it, the graphics remind me of a PS3/Xbox 360 game (quite funny saying this as I was playing this game on PC with DualShock3), and the soundtrack is pretty okay!

I've been also revisiting other games such as Super Mario Galaxy/Sunshine, and Valerie (i'm STOKED for it's Q4 release)

astlibra: revision

this game nobly carries on the spirit of early ys and ancient newgrounds platformers.
i would describe this as a modern classic, not as a performative descriptor. I really mean it.
It's so earnest, it reminds me of what gaming used to be before it got used as a platform for opinions.

also it's straight up plays like a metroidvania in design, but you wouldn't say it when playing because the levels are separated.

yeah there's stuff I don't like, especially with respect to the writing, but it's refreshing to just play a game made by one crazy guy over a long time. no safety committee sanding all the rough edges off. must play more old doujin games.

i get myself into the mindset to enjoy cringy oldschool japanese pervyness and stuff.
makes for better gaming/manga/anime experiences.

After taking a massive break from the series because I didn't like the direction it was going, I'm finally playing Pokémon again. Been going through LG & Legends Arceus on Switch 2, and Ultra Sun on 3DS. It's nice to be enjoying the series again.

I think some may argue but I liked Alundra 2 a lot more.
The first one was great but was kind of a Zelda clone.
The 2nd was it's own game.
