How's Survivor been so far? I plan to try it out when I get around to my PS1 backlog. I have my Dad's copy and he's always told me it's AWFUL (we're in NA so no light gun compatibility), but part of me wants to beat it since he never did LOLResident Evil Survivor and Resident Evil True Director's Cut

Really appreciate all the info! A good soundtrack and atmosphere can make just about any game worth it for me so I'm looking forward to hearing that. I haven't played many shooters so those rank requirements sound INTENSE but the new weapons sound like good payoff for the effort. Good luck getting that rocket launcher! It's great gameplay wise. I'm not going to say it's a great is game because the story leaves a lot to be desired and it has it's fair share of jank, though if you can look past that you'll find a good game that's a fun time for the most part. The atmosphere and music are really good imo, not as good as the mainline series aside from re1 dualshock, but all in all pretty good. This game features several branching paths so that really helps make each playthrough different from the last. I have beat the game several times now, and at the moment I have all of the files and extra guns aside from the rocket launcher. I'm going to try getting the rocket launcher sometime soon, though you need a nearly flawless run to do that while not being able to reload from half a mag. That isn't an issue in the base game but it becomes a problem as missed shots count against your score and you need an S Rank. I would be remiss not to mention that there is a version of RE Survivor with light gun support in the repo as well.
