Dragon Quest IX is a fun game with an interesting story. It's lacking in the character department, like past DQ games - minus VIII. The gameplay is solid an I love me some turn based action.

That being said....Chrono Trigger is just better, imo. The combat, world, characters, story. All of it has my attention by the balls an I don't want to stop playing.

So I'll put Dragon Quest on hold to finish this gem. I cannot believe I've never played Chrono Trigger before but I'm glad I can now. ::terriermon-happy
chrono trigger is my favorite game of all time. glad you like it!

I'm also playing Dragon Quest IX right now (emulated on my Logitech G Cloud) and I really enjoy it.
While I really loved to play the SNES Versions of 1-3 it's also nice to play a 3D Dragon Quest game again that sometimes resembles the style of DQ VIII, which is my first and favorite DQ game.
And personally I really like that you can freely create your Characters in IX because I Iike to put my girlfriend and family in my party. :)

Then from time to time I'm playing Tokyo Highway Battle (which is part of the Tokyo Extreme Raver series) on my RG35XX Handheld. It's a very fun game but also kinda challenging so most of the time I'll just put two or three races in before bed or something like that.

Another game that I love to pick up for half an hour before bedtime is Densha de Go! Professional Shiyō for PS1 which is just a perfect fit for the RG35XX.

Last but not least I'm playing through Tomb Raider Legend again, emulated on PS5. It was one of my favourite games back on PS2 and it's been a lot of fun playing through the diverse Levels again after all these years. :)

Oh I love Destroy all Humans, such a fun game! The remake is totally worth it too.

I'm really looking forward to playing the second one since I have never played that one in the past.

Mainly playing Balatro. Did pick up Slay The Spire on steam for super cheap, fun concept! Also been playing Super Baseball 2020 on my Evedrive. Still as impossible to get one over on the CPU as ever

I finally got started on Absolum. The game's combat loop is getting me hooked so far. I unlocked Cider and currently trying her.
Hey i just started this too...what system you playing on? Been wanting to run some co-op with someone

Currently replaying Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom...I genuinely think this is the greatest video game ever made. Played it when I first dropped and put in like 100 hours in the first week of getting it.
I think I burned myself out on first playthrough and was just trying to finish by end...This time I'm taking my time and looking at and talking to everything, so I figure I'll have 200hrs or so on this playthrough

should be done in 2028 lol

PS5, but I don't have PS+. Sony charges way too much for that, and i'm not getting the 3 month nor 1 month either. As much as I wanna co-op right now, i'm on a budget unfortunately. Though you have fun and I hope you have somebody with you. I've actually taken a break from the game.Because the runbacks can be annoying even when you have the revive upgrades. It's what I don't like about most rouge-likes. The only one I really love is Double Dragon Gaiden.

I feel that...ultimately this was one of my biggest decisions for getting a steam deck and getting on the PC platform

I do have a Steam account but I don't have the game on that platform. I don't see myself buying yet again anytime soon either.

If you're into spy films and taking the piss of 60's politics and culture you' will enjoy it

Some mechanics and mission structure were changed, it's more open than the first one

And about the remakes, i heard that were almost the same game, with some minor jokes mellowed out, i heard the remake of the second one was buggy tho

I'm currently playing Pop'n Pop and Gussun Paradise / YoYo's Puzzle Park on PS1

Arc Runner wasn't doing it for me, so I traded in for Drive Club (a game I owned at one point for PS4) and Dante's Inferno (360). The latter I only played a demo and at friend's a little bit. Not gonna lie, I am really having fun with Dante's Inferno. I got it cheap, and I thought of happyninja42 when getting this. I am still in the early game, but I didn't realize this game has a cool magic system you can switch on the fly and equip up to 4.

just recently got both romeo is a deadman, mewgenics, and some dlc for my fighters (granblue rising and uni2 to be specific!). absolutety adoring deadman, i love suda's works to death, and their visual flair and mixed media styles are such a huge influence on me. mewgenics is alright so far, a bit too simple for me to reallyyyyy fall in love with, but its a cute and funny game!!!
