Games you are currently playing

Been a minute since ive posted in here.

Played some Hollow Knight: Silksong, around 4/5ish hours into the game. Never played the first one. Its going "alright" i would say, i need more hours in to fully express how i feel, i will say the games economy is very annoying so far.

Also played some "I am your Beast" really fantastic FPS/puzzle game about completing objectives/killing enemies as fast as possible. Got a few S rank scores so far, theres 27 stages i believe im on stage 8 now? Can't wait to see what else this game has in store for me.

Some Marvel Snap, REALLY, REALLY have not liked the last 2 or 3 balance updates they've done and while i still play it, im ready to move on to a new card hame.

Finally, some Street Fighter alpha 3. Been labbing in the training mode for fightcade, when i get a new router ill finally be able to play some real matches. Planning to main Vega or Blanka
I kinda answer this question weekly/whenever i can lol.

Dropped Silksong, i just couldnt mesh with that game unfortunately.

Just Started playing Citizen Sleeper 1 on Thursday, havent spent much time with it but ive enjoyed what ive experienced so far.

Fucked around in GTA5 for 4 hours

Sill playing some marvel snap. Its been a really light couple of weeks

Finished up beatdown fists of vengeance (PS2)early this morning

Didn't knew it was a remaster of a GameCube game. I thought it was from the PS1 classic, but got fooled by myself. Anyways: for 3 bucks it's absolutely worth it, it's a classic fun original puzzle game. Only hated the Tower of Druaga parody so far ngl.

Just tried Sonic Lost World since the Steam keys everywhere are currently mostly 90% discounted. For 3 bucks it's a very good price as well, just like it was with Mr. Driller lol

I will still remain with my original thoughts of when I've played this on Wii U: the game feels atrociously stiff in the 2D segments. I really dislike that there's only 1 save file in-game. It's still a Sonic game with cool charm, I'm one of the few people that actually likes the Deadly Six lol.

I started playing Silksong after recently clearing Hollow Knight from my backlog. Also just now finally got to start playing Flare NuiNui Quest, now that it has a Linux native build.

It's basically Hololive Megaman. Been wanting to play this for a while now, but couldn't because I use Linux and the game didn't work under Wine or Proton. A Linux native build finally released a month or two ago, almost a year after it released on Steam.

As for Silksong, people that complained about Hunter's March just need to get a better controller/d-pad. As long as you have a solid d-pad, and know Hornet's trajectory, it's not that difficult. I should just make a d-pad tier list, using Hunter's March as the benchmark. Only tested 2 so far.

8BitDo Ultimate = Good
Steam Deck = Bad

You know what? This kinda slaps. I enjoyed what I've played.

Etrian Odyssey 3. Stuck on an FOE in the second stratum despite things going fairly smooth up to that point. I just need a decent streak of rng because the only real problem is its attack that targets the entire party. My arbalist in particular gets fucked up real bad

Been playing a lot of Hollow Knight as of late. Since Silksong is out now, I wanted to try and complete of much of it as I can at my leisure before I grab Skong. Been an absolute blast so far.

Jet Set Radio OG. Haven't picked it up since the OG Xbox and after getting used to the movement, it holds up pretty well. Music is a bop, DJ professor K kills it and gives me some memories of simpler times.

Today I finished my 6th and maybe last run of Shattered Pixel Dungeon, very cool game, sadly I'm not an achievement hunter nor care about the challenges, so maybe I will leave it alone for... ever maybe?

Very recommended, it is free on android, and very cheap on steam, I feel like buying it on steam and maybe donate a little more.

Been playing Dying Breed, in between the games I am reviewing for October.

Well that and the Limbus, Reverse, and BA, dailies.

I've been playing Trails of Cold Steel II. Today, it was just grinding mira (aka money) in order to prep for a dungeon dive.

In my off-time, I've been playing Fire Emblem Engage (my first Fire Emblem game). It is a bit slow going at the moment.

Needed A break from RE3, so I've been playing Fatal Frame. Man I love this game.

Double Dragon and double dragon 2 while killing time

Nintendo just dropped Bubsy 1 on Switch Online. Why is that, we have no idea. I think I've played 1/3 of it already.

Uh........it's actually not AS BAD as people makes it believe. But it's filled with junk, no doubt. The sliding thing is where the game it's build, and if not properly use it the experience can be very aggressive towards the player. Some level design (the spikes in the canyon put under the crates. F*ck you Accolade) is absolutely stupid.
This said: I think Bubsy is actually a charming character in his 90s mascot cartooney nature and full of personality. Every death animation speaks out loud for that and I think the only character that does that as good is Crash Bandicoot.

Gungrave on PS2. i actually thought it was fun! i actually like the cel shaded graphics and soundtrack on it. i haven't been able to play the game in forever because of how hard it was to get a hold of a copy.

Played a couple of rounds of Cloverpit, think I'm starting to get an overall idea of what I need to get a decent run (and man, getting those jackpots are like crack)

Also played some of Super Mario Bros X2, while I appreciate what people can do with it, I'd love just a simple port of the first 3 Mario games (and maybe 6 golden coins)

Kept with Trials of Mana (enjoyable as always, even if with its flaws).

....and before that Earthworm Jim duology that I'm alternating being both on NSO (1 is the Genesis and the second the SNES versions). Hot take? While the characters and artstyle are incredible and reminding me of the golden age of 90s, the same can't be said of the games. I feel they're actually pretty bad, with the first 1 being 5/10 and the other a 4/10.

Daikatana. I gave it a hard pass when it came out, due to the reviews and my terrible pc not good enough for it. Upon reading recent reviews and seeing a fan patch I thought I'd give it a try.
They say the first chapter is not great and it picks up at chapter 2, but damn it is rough going. I gave up mid way through the crematorium level, this game demands a massive tolerance for bullshit.

I also played GT7 with the PSVR2. It makes sense now, it all makes sense! Suddenly every single car is fun to drive, I can judge my corners better and I'm more focused on driving rather than section times or whatever. Shame I can only play for about 30mins before ouchy headache.

Bleach: Soul Resurrección in an attempt for the platinum trophy. I love me some Bleach and I love me some Musou but man, this game is a real pain in the ass...

I know your pain. I got the platinum years ago and had a rough time. I want the platinum for DW Gundam 2/3 but you need to play online for a few trophies x_x

Replaying Super Mario 64. Still a great game nearly 30(!) years later. Idk if I'll bother going for all 120 stars or not but I've never done it before so maybe this'll be the time.
