gearing up for hard mode in final fantasy vii rebirth

i like this photo i took of the game, it has a very adventurous feeling to it
i modded my game to include some of the character outfits found in the game ever crisis

Flying Dragon on N64.

Pretty great, despite constant emulation glitches.

Almost done with Chibi Robo: Park Patrol. It's pretty repetitive and nowhere near as good as the first (or third) game but strangely addicting, and still novel enough to see through to the end.

I've been playing this game I just discovered the other day, called Palia.
It seems to be one of those "cozy" life-sim games where you can build and furnish a house, date NPCs (who all happen to be purple elves) and farm/craft/hunt etc. I liked the aesthetic (I'm kind of a sucker for that bright, stylized Unreal Engine summertime fantasy vibe) and it's been pretty enjoyable so far, though I've only played a few hours.

Gacha slop, Type-Moon edition...

I'm planning on downloading Xenosaga tho. Gotta celebrate my birthday somehow. Might as well start a series I missed out on.

I started a fresh playthrough of Abiotic Factor a while ago. Haven't been into these "early access survival crafting" games at all in a while but this is a different enough take on the genre to stand out from the rest in my opinion. It has a bit more linear goal and a well crafted set of levels with story told mostly by computer logs and some npc dialogue sprinkled about. It didn't really click with me on the first time I tried it but managed to grab me in this time. I'm also a big half-life fan which clearly inspired this setting a lot.
It is up for full release in a month or so if anyone wants to check it out.

I started playing Squeakross, which is Picross but you get to make a little mouse dude and completing puzzles unlocks furniture you can use to decorate your house Animal Crossing-style. The soundtracks has a loungey easy listening kind of vibe. Reminds me of Jeff Martin's work on the Sims. It's basically my dream game lol

Red Steel — It's Red Steel

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse – Still a step down from Canvas Curse but it's growing on me. I can at least tell they put in the effort, even if the pacing is slow and the control a little clunkish. Not as babbymode easy as most Kirby games which I appreciate.

Squeakross – uuhm, cheesed to meet you?

Finished MGSV yesterday after almost 50 hours of playtime.
I'm a bit on the fence regarding it. For the things I liked about it, there's also a lot of repetitive missions and some other inconsistent things, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it bad. But it has some glaring flaws.

Doom 64, AKA "OMG! I'M FUCKING BLIND!™".
Oh I hate this game's final boss so much, lol. They compensated the absence Arch-viles with this asshole.

I recently did Julius mode on Aria of Sorrow, I've been playing through a season of World Series Baseball II on the Saturn, and I'm playing One Piece Treasure Cruise on my phone for an event that's going on. Nothing too exciting, heh.

Tales of Eternia on PSP mostly, it's the first Tales game that I try for real and I'm liking the battle system a lot, it feels engaging and it's just fun.
And since I don't rest without my daily Mega Man dose, Star Force 2 and Battle Network 4. (I'm hating both, I want to jump to the next one in both series ASAP)

All of the megaman games are really good i remember not being able to stop playing because i was so into it; Also tales of eternia is a great example of what a good rpg feels like(in my opinion >:b )

Some time ago I decided to start getting into the Yakuza series, and now that I have a PC that can run PCSX2, I’m playing the first one and having lots of fun.

When I get tired of playing it, though, I jump straight into the DS port of LEGO Batman — a game I never gave a chance before, even though I loved the PS2 version as a kid.

as I'm done with my CAVE marathon in Thursday, today I started Rhapsody A Music Adventure for PS1 as a mutual on Twitter remind me to play it plus it's a short SRPG :p

also I have plans to play Cave Story/Doukutsu Monogatari and Freedom Planet 2 one of these days as well a replay of Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks or The Warriors
