A cute little Castlevania-ish game called Akumanor Gaiden DX that I got off Itch. It's fun, but really too easy. I think I beat it in 20 minutes.
Link if anyone want's it

Fired up a few quick rounds of Worms Armageddon earlier today. Fun times. :)
Man, I miss Team17 and the Worms franchise

Was playing Mario Kart Double Dash Plus earlier today. All the added tracks are fun, even if I'm having to re-unlock the cups and karts I already had on my main PC.

While I can't fix that PSU, I'll stick to low powered emulation on this old laptop, my phone or my Switch. Good thing there's 30 years of games available on the repo to download!

Little Goody Two Shoes, game is absolutely stunning, and love how the horror/surreal elements blend in.

Resident Evil 4 Remake - Just beat Del Lago. No major complaints so far except the gunpowder crafting feels superfluous. Actually the game kept crashing on startup until I removed the crash report .dll from the game folder lmao. Fucking Capcom

Grand Theft Auto V - Beat it. Pretty shallow experience with a stretched out plot; serious pacing issues (the stakes are maxed out like halfway in the game when you're taking on an entire PMC and at that point you've seen everything it has to offer). The open world is pretty but like 2/3 of it has fuckall going on. Really didn't feel any desire to explore the map beyond driving around in the rain listening to music. The shooting was fine. Helicopter controls were atrocious yet you had to fly one like every 4 missions. Underwhelming overall. Can't wait for GTA6!

Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils - Indie 2D platformer with a Gameboy Color-like aesthetic. The hook is that you can use your bell-creature-thing to double jump in a way similar to how Kolonoa throws enemies to bounce off of them. Simple but effective. Boss fights have been excellent so far. My only major complaint is it's hard to toss your bell diagonally and they could have used a Metroid kinda lock-in-place thing. If that makes any sense. It's on sale for like $4 and I highly recommend it if you're into that sort of thing

F-Zero GX - Hard as fuck but I like it so far. Might prefer X just because it's a bit more manageable lol.

Made a lot of progress in RE4 Remake. I'm still really digging it, probably wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than the original (probably gonna replay afterward) but they've definitely done it justice.

Played a bit of a modded playthrough of Final Fantasy IX on my Steam Deck and started played LAD: Pirate Yakuza.

Played some Ace Combat 7 multiplayer with my friends, hoping Project Aces actually says something meaningful about Ace Combat 8 soon. Think I'll be playing some Burnout Revenge, too, I'm really yearning for some fun racing games lately.

F-Zero GX. Managed to get 1st place in all the cups in beginner mode so I'm on to standard. Tried my hand at story mode and mission 3 is already stomping my ass.

Been playing a few games honestly.

1.Some THPS 3+4:
idk how to feel about it yet. The physics of this remake feel completely different from the original games and om not quite sure if i like it or not. I didnt play the 1+2 remake despite having a pretty strong attachment ti the first game. Perhaps they changed the physics starting with those games and people got used to it and im just late to the party.

2. Crash Bandicoot the N Sane Trilogy:
I remember playing the original third game on PS1 back in the day, along with CTR, but ive actually never played the first two games. Played a couple levels, beat the first boss, its starting to show some of its challenge off this early, really excited to see what's next

3.DOOM The Dark Ages:
Ive already beaten the game on ultra-violence. Just backtracking trying to 100% the game and get all the secrets now. Contemplating a second playthrough on Pandemonium (a harder difficulty)

4. Expedition 33:
Not a big RPG Guy but my friends love this game so I decided to try it out. Im an hour in, dont have many thoughts yet besides, its gorgeous.

5. Okami HD:
Im around 7 hours into the game and im loving it so far, the music, the characters, the artstyle, its a really beautiful game. Im playing it before the sequel eventually comes out!

6. Marvel Snap:
Just a nice little card game i relax with sometimes.

This is pretty much my rotation until i beat/decide to pause or drop one of these games

I'm about to play a bit of S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 for about an hour before going to bed T.T

Finished Tales Of The Black Forest yesterday. Great game, great writing, will reccomend it.

I usually play games on two sets - games for weekdays (that I play on PC from Monday to Thursdays), and game for Weekends (that I play on Xbox from Friday to Sunday).

Since I finished Tales of the black forest yesterday (which was my game for weekdays), my current game for weekdays is going to be Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (which I will be using the decompiler for X-) )

and my current game for Weekends is a long one (that is why I am playing shorter games on Weekdays). Which is Middle Earth: Shadow Of War (which I am playing on my Xbox):

I am also trying out some online games that I boot up whenever I feel like I don't have much time to play through a single player game properly or am too tired to pay attention to any story, and just need a single session of something. Currently trying out, 100% Orange Juice (loving it so far) and have put Warframe on download to test it out whenever it finishes downloading.

So update on this, I was going to play Jak And Daxter on weekdays, but both the PCSX2 emulator and the OpenGoal decompiler and giving me unique issues. The PCSX2 is giving me frame rate slow downs and audio slow downs during cutscenes (I played TimeSplitters not long ago and it did not gave me any issues there, same think with Yakuza 1 and Yakuza 2; though framerate drops were noticed on Killzone, even though I still manage to beat Killzone on PCSX2 because I am used to it by now), while OpenGoal in the beginning runs smooth as butter but after a while I have to restart again because the frame rate drop it will suddenly get would be even more brutal than the PCSX2 one. Maybe I will play Jak and Daxter later when either OpenGoal recieves an update or just bear it out with PCSX2, or maybe the reason all of this is happening is because my PC is potato as hell. Here are the specs:

Intel i3-7020U
Intel HD Graphics 620
8 GB RAM (but considering it basically a 4 GB Ram laptop now because windows defender and SSD leaves only 3GB RAM For my usage; sad )

Due to my financial conditions I cannot afford to buy a new PC for atleast a few good years, planning to buy a better laptop in like, I guess 2030, 2028 if I get a good paying job or one of my novels blew up and sell more than Thomas Pynchon (which is not going to happen because my novels are shit), so I will put this game on hold for atleast a year, and if I feel like playing it again, will just do it simply on PCSX2 and bear with the frame rate drops. Lol.

Till then, the title of my weekdays game now go to Syphon Filter I guess. Congrats Syphon Filter, you bumped up your position. XD
