Evil
Good and evil are relative. What is good for me and my group is usually bad for others
Example in VG: I'm a monster hunter so hunting monsters is good for me, the guild and the community (town or village) I'm in (monster products sell real well) but my hunting is considered bad by the monsters I hunt down
Real-world example: I earn money to feed myself good food like meat and veggies; good for me and my health, bad for the organisms (animals and plants) I consume
Ever since living organisms on this planet first learned to STEAL resources (e.g. plant vs plant interaction) then life from other organisms (first herbivores, then carnivores), evil became the way to survive and thrive
Yes, your group (family, community) will celebrate and laud you as 'good' when you bring home the bacon but that's when they know that they have a share in plundering 'life' from your spoils
So I'd rather face the truth: it's evil, but a necessary one
P.S. I first had this realization back in 2008 when I first tried out Spore; realized that a "pure herbivore" (basically not attacking any other organisms) is an evolutionary dead-end. Thus I called it my "Spore Realization"
