It's the remaster, but Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army. I picked it back up after a half year long break and intend to actually finish it.

Serial Killer Simulator 2003 ::sailor-embarrassed

The Marathon reboot. It's definitely controversial but its nowhere near as bad as its made out to be. That said the game's main problem is that its an extraction shooter with influence from Tarkov, which I assume means colored loot rarity and seasonal vault/inventory resets.
It really would have been better if it was just a standard single player game like space S.T.A.L.K.E.R/Far Cry 2, or a linear and tightly well designed corridor shooter like Doom 3. Because they definitely put in effort to the world building and gunplay, its just a shame that its held hostage to a live service extraction shooter.

just finished shenmue 2 and legend of legaia, currently im playing that suikoden 2 the oath romhack version, was also trying suikoden 5 but somehow i just cant get to it
I remember how pumped I was, getting tingles at the end when Lan-Di was right there. Epic staredown. I was like "Can't wait to play the third and final game in like a few years!". Then many years later Shenmue 3 actually happened. Suzuki's one damn chance to wrap it up. Not only did he not wrap it up, it sucked. Now it will probably never be wrapped up. Fuck.

After a couple weeks, I beat Tomb Raider 4 through 6 via the remasters (not first playthroughs). I hated the original versions but I admit the games are much better in the remasters, not just to look, but to play as well, even though none of them top the OG Trilogy IMO. Even AoD is playable, dare I say. Not great, just playable. ::lol Chronicles was a much better time as well now that it's bug free.

I was at my friends earlier today playing Quarters. That's a retro game. I've
played on and off since the 1990's. And in all fairness they wanted to playPS1
baseball, but baseball sucks ass, so we compromised for the home run derby, after i ascertained the meaning of "go yard", remember Iam NOT a baseball fan. We have played before this way and I always chose the same guy, the old catcher from the Reds: Eddie taubensee. I hate everything about bball now. I loved the juicers better anyway, my man ed taub was knocking them outta the park the black Sammy Sosa (definitely not the new white one don't believe me, google it he is whiter than me and obama put together.)

recently been playing super star trek

You might like Space Rangers, there tonz of different mechanics, for me it was to much, cuz i searched for something story focused like Mass Effect 2, but people who play strategy games for gameplay might enjoy it

Yesterday I made a new Quake installation to substitute the heavily patched one I had going. So I am often playing this game, new maps ever week.

Behold! Lightmapped water!
Did you ever think water textures could be lit?
The new Quake remaster doesn't support it sadly.

Is this IronWail or DarkPlaces?

The remaster is more or less keeping the original feel with a modernised gameplay.

This is Ironwail. vkQuake, QuakeSpasm, and JoeQuake also support it.
The remaster has a lot of community/QuakeSpasm standards implemented like coloured lights, sv_protocol 666, and was even updated to better support Arcane Dimensions. It's just the timing of increased adoption of lightmapped water that kept it from it, and it'll probably get it if ever gets updated by Nightdive again. The engine will support it, that is, not necessarily the official maps using it.

I just beat Valis for the first time. It was a blind buy (Off Ebay, not from LRG). It was surprisingly... easy. Almost lost every life to the second to last boss... she basically one shots you after a 2 second charge.

Dead or Alive 3. It is unbelievable how good that game looks for 2001. Not to mention a couple years later when DOA4 would be a launch title for the 360, that game would be one of best looking games on the system there too! Both with the same engine! Unreal.
