An easter egg from Deus Ex: Human Revolutionwhat is that from?

Same.Looking back, I appreciate the political themes in FF7 and Tactics. Tactics, especially, with its scathing critique of religion and the themes about class warfare.
Completely different.is ff16 gonna make me feel good and comtible like this lol - or is this a totally diff exp
Completely different.
16 is a much more serious story in general, and way more linear so there's not that "exploring with the gagn" feel, but I don't mean that as a necessarily bad thing, just that they're very different.
Thank goodness I'm not the only one who actually enjoy ff15 exploration. Though the story is a mess..i really enjoyed ff15 and the brotherhood that it made me feel - the cooking - just the overrall exp of the game
I guess they're going back to its roots then. How much linear is it compared to FF VII remake?Completely different.

I've not played enough of 16 to warrant any real thoughts, and I only watched my brother play FF7R (the first part), sorry, which looked like it was structured almost like a Yakuza game. I feel like 16 is more open than that, but as I said I haven't really played it enough to be knowledgeable, but it's not an open world game I don't think?Thank goodness I'm not the only one who actually enjoy ff15 exploration. I still wish squenix to at least integrate a bit of that open world feeling FFXV had. It doesn't have to be as open as Xenoblade but those linear rpg gameplay is caused by hardware limitations back in the day. They can do so much better now.
Yakuza definitely feels more open world and have more things to do besides main quest (though much smaller) than ff7 remake which is very linear and I have played both. So maybe I'm not going to buy ff16 anytime soonI've not played enough of 16 to warrant any real thoughts, and I only watched my brother play FF7R (the first part), sorry, which looked like it was structured almost like a Yakuza game. Just don't take my word as whether or not you should get 16. I haven't played enough of it to be able to persuade or dissuade you.Yakuza definitely feels more open world and have more things to do besides main quest (though much smaller) than ff7 remake which is very linear and I have played both. probably one of the mods for the original like fft prime; i think one of the mods includes the extra content from the psp version in it. the ivalice chronicles remaster doesn't include the extra stuff, but does have a few new things that would be helpful like an option to enter random battles. So a question for you all, which is the better way to play the original ff tactics, war of the lions tweak or the ivalice chronicles?
I prefer the modern script so no PSX version for me. I'm currently playing the PSP version with the slowdowns fixed. Can't justify a purchase of Ivalice Chronicles right now and it's my first time so I don't mind.So a question for you all, which is the better way to play the original ff tactics, war of the lions tweak or the ivalice chronicles?
As much as this game was probably never meant to be an actual FF I am sad they've ditched chibi characters. For some of you may or not know back in the ‘90s a year or two before Final Fantasy 7, there were rumors that Squaresoft was in development of what supposed to be FF game for the N64.
We all know Square ditched the big N for Sony because of its stubbornness regarding the use of game cartridges.
Like an old saying goes where this smoke there’s fire, well the smoke is some leaked footages of a 3D demo of supposed FF which could’ve been FF 7 for the N64.
But the truth is it’s a SGI demo containing FF 6 characters Locke, Terra and Shadow that Square showed at some developers convention that they are on the transitioning from 2D to 3D. I honestly thought of making this a full blown article but I couldn’t dig up anymore details aside from this horrendous video.
Isn't that a huge part of the reason that RPGs are sort of hard to find on that system? Because modern RPGs (for the time) would have held far too much data and old-school (for the time) RPGs would have been seen as out-dated.

Trying to make it out to be a potential FF for the N64 that got canned is sensationalist and clickbait-y.
Type-0's intro is so sad...Once I'm done with Tales of Arise I'm finally going to play FF Type-0. Or maybe Bravely Default II since I've had it for like 5 years in my backlog.
