The Red Mage may be weak in 5, but if you're willing to stick with it, you get one of the best Abilities in the game.
I did , he gets X2 abilities with crappy INT stat and at that point weak spells so its kinda meh.... He needs 999 AP thats a lot and only possible when you get to the Xzone

The Red Mage is amazing in FF1 though. He can equip almost all armors, almost all swords plus up to level 6 magic. The black mage takes high level spells to be better and even then he's way more squishy.
Best spells for me was fiiraga and other hight rank element. For other speel I use weapons as items to cast spells like death and scourga.
In 2 there weren't red mage....
Now I remember where should I go in 2 to put dragon's egg?

made some new sketches based upon my earlier drawing of my ff tactics party.

in fact I go down to lowest but a wall don't let me put the freak egg in place it. (Thanks for help)
Is ther any hidden door or something??? Or should I look at text walkthrough again?

Yes I did but the way was returne to left way in first floor
I remember the dungeon being quite confusing , if you get to the end there is 3 doors 2 are fake one is real.

If there is no other option then follow that road that brings you to first floor seems that its your only option

Hey guys i made this fanfare collection it contatins FF1 to 9 fanfares expect 3 cuz i haven't played the remake and the NES one sounds bad , FF1/FF2 fanfares are the PS1 versions

I been using these for a while now as they very practical and can be heard from a distance , i had FF7 fanfare for 2-4 months as my notfication sound fun little side info i would sometimes do barret or tifa victory stance when i got a notfication ::megadancebaby and past month i had FF6 one everytime it played i would dance a bit its just that good ::goblingrin

I plan to put one of these for an entire month and now im using FF5 fanfare as my notfication i did do the victory pose few times by now XD anyway i would like to share it with you.

FF2 and FF4 i found no audio for them on YT so i had to download the long version of the fanfare then cut it perfectly so it sounds right.

Enjoy.

My favorite Final Fantasy games are X, V, and Tactics. Love those games!
It's been quite some time since I played Tactics so I might give that a replay sometime this year.
V is indeed dope , tactics provides a fun twist on the usual FF formula but the PS1 version has few issues that i think were resolved in the PSP remaster.

Final Fantasy 3 is whack looks like you can become a scholar marking the first ever appearance of the scholar model in the FF games the same model updated and used in 4 and 5.

So you can smack things with books.... A fantasy indeed!

Also its the first game to have moogles here is their first appearance ever
Final Fantasy III (English v1.3)[2019]-screenshot(1).png

Summoners are called evokers here and summons have 2 uses , one offense which is indicated by black magic icon and defense/support indicated by white magic icon

The game has you cast toad/mini in certain sections toad on yourself that is same for mini , same for jobs this is first iteration of the job system and it kinda sucks lol , you need job points to switch between jobs and you need to remove all equipment.... To switch jobs square couldnt code auto equip like 5 so they just did this and its clunky.

Thing is you dont even know what a job does cuz there is no description so you have to guess like i didn't know what evoker was supposed to be it doesnt help some jobs are unlocked prior to having their equipment available.

This game also marks the first ever jumping dragoons since in FF2 the dragoon was gareth who didnt jump and also fought by sword instead of spear like the rest of the dragoon appearances.

FF3 is basically FF1 but Warriors of the light can speak which is nice

Oh and you get charcters following you kinda cool small thing you can also talk with them.

I think Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and A2 are very underrated. They're not perfect games [Advance's law system has been the cause of much annoyance for me] but they're sweet. Marche's journey in Advance was touching and Luso's quest in A2 was fun.

While Advance isn't as dark as Tactics/WotL, the themes of escapism and having to learn to live with the ups and downs of the real world which I feel tends to be underappreciated or ignored. I'm still playing through A2 but from where I'm at so far it's just a fun isekai adventure with none of the weird fan-service that anime tends to have.

Also the soundtracks for both games are top-notch, I've listened to Echoes That Tie the Worlds and Putting Words Together at the end of every summer before school started up again, they perfectly encapsulate the feeling of being at the end of a long adventure and moving onto the next one.
