Fighting Game Central

Used to play Street Fighter III 3rd Strike a lot on Fightcade.
Phenomenal soundtrack and opening animation. Game is a masterpiece of design.
Also Akuma is my all time favorite fighting game character in terms of story, appearance and gameplay.

Street Fighter 4, and I'd probably have to say Abel from SF4 as my overall favourite fighting game character. He clicked for me quicker and harder more than any other character and I will never not enjoy bullying people with step kick into 50/50 mixups, or landing multiple command grabs.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 I put A TON of hours into at the time and I've been starting to again now that Season 2 Kush hit Tekken 8. This game received mixed criticism but I know I had a lot of fun with it back when it came out and back before I bought my first arcade stick.

As for favorite fighting game character.... Lu Bu's Descendent. Feng Wei. I'm pretty sure he came after Steve Fox in Tekken 4 when it came to switching stances. From Kenpo to Taji Quan. This guy just gets the job done. He added much more to the mind games in a match.

I'd probably say SF3 Third Strike is still my favorite fighting game of all time, but I know that's pretty much everyone's favorite at this point lol. If we're talking non-Street Fighter; I'd probably say Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus. Aesthetically and artistically, the classic GG's have always been the best in my eyes. I'd probably say Chipp Zanuff would be my favorite fighting game character as well.

My favorite fighting games and characters tend to change from time to time, lol.
Ryu from Street Fighter EX2, Abel from SFIV, Kyo from KOF, Geese from Fatal Fury, too many to count.

Favorite game: Third Strike.

Favorite character: Urien. The character that made me a fan of the genre. Good buttons (st.mp, cr.mk, j.hk) alongside oppressive yet highly variable player expression in his SA3: Aegis Reflector made him my favorite the minute I first played the game. This was also greatly influenced by watching high level Urien players extensively, like RX, and wanting to learn his unblockables to use in real matches.

Sorry for the paragraph - I just really enjoy playing as him.
