Favorite Junk Food?

Just get a potato, pinch a few roles with a fork and put it on the microwave

It's nature's fast food

I'd rather steam or boil. And if i do that I'll do several at a time, as many as i can fit in a 2qt pot. (frying pre-cooked potatoes is especially yummy... Also mashed potatoes and stuffed potatoes and mixing to other foods...)

Microwaves should be the path of last resort.

I gotta admit... I'm quite impressed with what food chemists can turn into shelf-stable/tinned/just-add-water/microwavable meals these days, and I have found some really great stuff in there as well, but the budget-y nature of these meals is lost on me due to the sheer volume of mouths to feed in my household. Still, I do love myself some cup-a-soup from time to time.

What about you? Are you still buying these kinds of foods? If so, what do you think? Are they genuinely underrated or are the vast majority just garbage? Tell us!
i eat a lot this type of meals, tbh im smashing a bowl of smiling fries that i just did with the only love of my life, my airfryer

I don't think that it comes as a surprise that French people are a little stuck up when it comes to food, I have a very negative opinion. Lazy cooking is fine but lazy food can be a very bad thing. I don't think it's all bad but people need to understand is that there's a history behind this, mega corporations wanting to turn on a profit on selling you poison. Not always, not everything is like that but if you're curious I think you might want to check this documentary out. It's just a small clip but it sums it up.

Hot Pockets: microwavable, no mess pizzas in less than 3 minutes are hard to beat. Those and key lime yogurt.

usallly what ı make easy to cook meat and noodles is my favorite

What's some of your favorite fast food French fries?

I'm going to say Burger King's, Hardee's (Carl's Jr.) and McDonald's French fries are some of my favorites.

Fresh McDonalds fries are hard to beat, but they lose a little luster if they sit too long.

I love seasoned fries. Popeyes, Rallys. I miss the KFC potato wedges quite a bit.

I havent willingly gone to a fast food place in 10 years

I guess mcdonalds? Theres only 2 chains here (3 kinda)

I'd go after the burger rather than the fries, but fast food isn't my jam in general.

Raising Cane's. The MSG negates the crinkle issue (which surprisingly is not even a problem with their fries anyways). I would add Popeyes as well, but I usually get the spicy mash instead. I also like Five Guys, though I don't go there as much due to the prices.

While it doesn't really count as fast food per say (actually fast casual), Red Robin has really good bottomless fries. And I grab poutine at the pub when it's available.

Definitely split between Arby's curly fries, and Mcdonalds. Course the BEST EVER APPETIZERS would be Long John Silver's Hushpuppies...I could eat those forever. Their fries....not so much.
