The Silent Hill intro will probably always be my favorite. Classic song, kinda gives me the vibe of a TV show intro, acts as a prologue to when you start the game proper and shows stuff you don't see in the game itself.
Street Fighter x Tekken's never fails to pump me up. Dope music, dope visuals in a dream matchup. Sure, Ono's fuckery killed any chance this game had of succeeding but I still love the game regardless.
Have it all in the best quality possible. Super Puzzle Fighter and Super Gem Fighter: Mini Mix (Also known as Pocket Fighter) are some of my favorite competitive puzzle games that I've played and finished. While a lot of people only know it being as a simple competitor of Compile's Puyo Puyo Tsu, The game has a charm of it's own that can't be unmatched. The fact that this game has the CPS-2 Chip to handle the music and the engine proves my point. I'm not good at the latter, but come on, I wouldn't know Darkstalkers if it weren't for this game!
this game is also known for me almost getting into detention in 8th grade because of my obsession with Morrigan anseland.
Melty Blood's original opening is one of the first things I think of when I picture the early 2000's.
Due to Awakening's significance to the continuation of Fire Emblem, I have a strong affection for its opening. When the main theme of Fire Emblem plays, it truly feels like Awakening is Intelligent Systems giving it their all to save the franchise.
I can't love enough X5's intro, an absolute mindblower, as a kid that barely cared for Lore i just liked the music and wondered who the Megafock were those guys in the intro, as an adult that played the entirity of the X saga, i love how Finale-y it feels... sadly Capcom Nation attacked and, well at least we got the Zero series
