Since they're still technically making sega mark 3\master systems in brazil maybe they should've gone all in, but doesn't tec toy already handle all of that?The only way for the 32x to succeed, in my opinion, would be if it was released as part of a console, with compatibility with Megadrive games, a kind of Megadrive Pro, and continued to be sold in poorer countries. As the hardware became cheaper, it wouldn't be so expensive.
Maybe if the 32x interacted with the saturn in some way...? But then again the ram expansion already serves that purpose
Megadrive games kept being made even after the ps1 launched and exceptuon stuff like batman and robin looked like a ps1 game almost
If someone's on a budget I can't see why they wouldnt have just gone with the megadrive, and you don't get a cd player and better music unlike the mega cd
