I remember Otaku World had a forum. Didn't post much there though.

Before I discovered DeviantArt, the earliest works I've uploaded were kisekae/KiSS doll projects.

I kinda miss my first forum, but I'm not welcomed there and I strongly object to the direction it took.

I miss my first forum as well. The site hosting it shut down in the early 2000s. I found a couple other forums after that but they also went the way of the dodo.

I guess the message here is "beware, I am the harbinger of forum doom"?

It was called Ultimate Final Fantasy (named after the website of the same name) and served as a haven for fans of jrpg's and especially Final Fantasy. Those were wonderful times. The first kindred spirits, the first online, let’s say, friends... That was about 25 years ago :) Then it merged with another site, we got hacked about twice, and at some point it turned out that the backups were... well, none. Gone. And that was the end; Everyone disappeared.

My first forum I joined was in the Spring of 2003. My parents wouldn't let me join forums before then. lol. I don't remember exactly which forum was first. I joined quite a few once I was allowed to. The vast majority of those forums are long gone...

Cannot even remember tbh...I used to lurk more than make accounts as a child so probably none idk. I think Stardoll had a forum, but I'm sure I didn't post there. I mainly spent my years on microblogging sites but I remember that one Durarara forum site (Dollars bbs)...I posted there once and thought I was so cool. It was prob for the best I never made an acc because 9 year old me would've got made fun of on regular gaming forums for being that young.

Probably Seven Deadly Forums, which was like kinda like something awful or 4chan before something awful or 4chan. Was hosted by like a group of people who would write like semi-sarcastic media reviews, blogs about their life but they were playing a character, and web comic artists.
