Do you remember what was your first forum?

Probably Rogue Temple.

Newgrounds forums was my first, which I was WAY too young for at the time, might I add lol. It was funny on there though, I used to get a real kick out of rage baiting and trolling grown adults on there and them calling me 13 years old (among other things) as an insult, which is even funnier in retrospect because I was actually between the ages of 8-10 during the time I had my first account there when I was doing all this lol.

RetroGameTalk
Lucky Star GIF

iMDB was the first forum I ever registered for. Then GameFAQs and GameTrailers. Fun times. Not so much GFAQS. Never wanted to go back to that again.

Technically MUGEN Archive since I've had an account on there since 2016, but I've never actually used the forums themselves. I was briefly active on a very short lived Mega Man forum back in around 2017 I wanna say, then never used a forum again until... this very site actually.

Radikal gamez a spanish forum that doesn't exists anymore from 2018
I have a modded PS3 and getting games was a pain in the ass and that forum have those games but it wasn't a good experience everything was a paywall

Yeah. They closed it down around late 2015.
I'm still salty about that — some of the discussions were incredible.

Trolling was what gave my 13 year old ass meaning XD

Oh, you're a former user from there too? I may or may not have encountered you there. My old user name was Siriuskamikaze.

@Archienine, don't feel too sad under my circumstances. There wasn't much activity by that point, but it sucked it got shutdown, because user numbers were super low.

2017, actually.

I only ever lurked it but it was so good. Probably the only place online where you could go to the board for some random movie, no matter how old or obscure it was, and there would be a small community there discussing it.

And the trolls, so many trolls.

I joined but never posted, actually.

Silly as it sounds, I was intimidated by the sheer size of the board and my (quite limited) graps of the English language at the time.

But I read the whole thing FURIOUSLY... the discussions on WW2 movies (especially German ones) were surprisingly insightful and full of details I had missed, and I really appreciated how they immediately kicked out trolls the second they appeared.

I consider it a tragedy that such a thing was shutdown.

My first forum was called gametalk.com (RIP) not to be confused with retrogametalk.com

Edit- gametalk.com was like the retro version of retrogametalk.com

I first browsed BZPower, a Lego Bionicle forum but never posted.
Then I was on 1up.com, technically not a forum but it was the closest I got before becoming active in actual forums.
Then I got into anonymous image boards like gelbooru, 4chan, 8chan, etc. that's when I really got active.
Then mugenarchive and now RTG.
