Do you have any condition/syndrome?

I am probably autistic[had a full evaluation done but insurance won't cover testing and diagnosis. The evaluator highly recommended I get tested for it when I can].

I have Bipolar disorder which is heavily medicated.

Also I'm biologically female so I have to take pills that make me break out and gain weight so I'm not bedridden for a week every month :)

Zackly disease

I am sure I have some kind of attention deficit mixed with some kind of autism/spectrum stuff - the VA does jack for it though, they just send me SSRI drugs despite not having bipolar disorder

That's surprising. Usually it causes weight loss due to appetite suppression. Are you sure the medicine you took as a kid was concerta?
100% sure. I even talked to my mom about it some time ago and she also remembers I took Concerta. But to be fair, maybe the sudden weight gain was right after I stopped taking it. But I definitely took Concerta
Post automatically merged:

I might have mixed up the timeline a bit because the weight gain is the only thing that happened due to the medicine. It didn't do anything else and my parents are still mad at the doctor

That's unfortunate

Is this me or there's a high amount of people on the spectrum and with ADHD in gaming circles? Or it's just that we diagnose them more often.

As for myself I got a nice one: cluster headache (thankfully the occurrence is quite rare but when it happens I just agonise while waiting for it to stop because even paracetamol doesn't ease up that sensation of getting a nail slowly inserted into my eye while I am losing gum sensibility in one side of the mouth).

It could be due to both reasons. ADHD and autism have a lot of overlap so that is likely related also.
cluster headache
That sounds awful. Do you go partially blind when it happens? On extremely rare occasions I get migraines and I go partially blind so I'm unable to do anything but lay down until it stops. It's awful. Thankfully it rarely ever happens and when it does I think it's due to sleep deprivation.

i know its become a meme but i still do wonder how accurate this video is for those who have autism

Audhd (autism and adhd), Ocd, depression, anxiety, misophonia, cptsd
oh and tinnitus. the ringing and pulsing

And maybe video game just happens to be a thing that most people could relate the most when having one of them or both.

Well thankfully I got no "aura" (the weird saw shaped line some told to have) but I feel that I'm less aware of what's happening around when I have it.

Yeah I can't figure why......I guess it has to do with them having difficulty to socialize IRL or something like that so video game are easier to get into instead of activities that require interacting with people.

I have pretty severe ADHD that I didn't even know about until like... 2023? It made a lot of sense finding out... My wife has ADHD and it came up once very casually. She just sort of assumed I knew I had it.

Thing is, as a kid I was tested for ADD and they said I didn't have it... but eh heh. I... I do.

IBD which I treat with fresh ginger juice. also found relief with (quality) turmeric and licorice root tea.
