Me I never forgive my good memories.
Not really. I like for nostalgia, but by itself it isn't a very good game.is that scooby doo game, any good?
Emulators didn't do them justice at the time, and that is why I am glad we had both an N64 and PS1. There were a lot of 50-60fps games on the console. To this day it still sort surprises me when action games on the playstation are fast. It's hard to shake that impression that emulating psx games on old computers with janky emulators left on me.
Yeah they were pretty bad. I remember epsxe having a ton of individual game tweaks that needed to be turned on and off depending on what game you were playing. I was lucky if I got more than 15fps most of the time unless it was a fully 2d game like FF Origins. I did randomly end up with a playstation and a few random games at some point but by that time I had a ps2 and this was pretty close to the end of the ps2's lifecycle so I never actually played on it much. My friends and family mostly had n64s so I didn't even get to play anyone else's playstation. In a lot of ways it stayed kind of a mystery console for me until emulation got better and even now I haven't actually played a lot of original playstation games.Emulators didn't do them justice at the time, and that is why I am glad we had both an N64 and PS1. We need to fix that; here's a list:l emulation got better and even now I haven't actually played a lot of original playstation games.
The only problem with the PlayStation Classic is that Sony cheaped out and got the worse versions of all the games. They're the European/UK versions that all play at a worse frame rate of 50fps. I can't take your love away, but it's really noticeable with non-RPGs or fighting games.I didn't grow up with a PS1, but I got a PlayStation Classic for my birthday back in 2018. I loved the thing to death and played so much Final Fantasy VII and Ridge Racer Type 4 at my grandma's house over Christmas break. Jumping Flash was also a fun game and I enjoyed the little I played of Cool Boarders before going back to playing FFVII again.
Oh wait, I forgot I also played all the Megaman X games and Megaman 8. I don't know how I forgot about those ones. They actually worked well because they were all 2d. I burned copies of all of them too. I played all the Tony Hawk games on n64 back in the day. I can't really get into them any more I've tried. Out of your list I've tried all the fighting games and I owned Resident Evil 2 on n64. I'll look into the rest though. I see Parasite Eve mentioned a lot. I'm probably not going to play Doom though. I've played Doom too many times on too many different platforms. Is Crash Bandicoot 2 & 3 better than the first one? I have tried that but I didn't really like it.We need to fix that; here's a list:
- Bloody Roar 2
- Parasite Eve
- Resident Evil 1-3
- Dino Crisis 2
- Metal Fist - Japanese version of Fighting Force. It is easier and controls so much better
- Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1-3
- Panzer Bandit - 2D Guardian Heroes style brawler.
- Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold & Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Street Fighter EX2
- Tekken 3
- Crash Bandicoot 2 & 3
- One
- Silent Bomber
- Doom PSX
- Fear Effect 1 & 2
- Mega Man 8 & Mega Man X4
- Gran Turismo 2
- Syphon Filer 2

It was also the peak of the Squaresoft golden era: FFVII, Parasite Eve, Brave Fencer Musashi, Bushido Blade 2...
(including most of the Platinum medals in Warped)..
Yes. Especially the second game.Crash Bandicoot 2 & 3 better than the first one?
Doom PSX is a different experience and almost turns into a survival horror on the level of Doom 64. Check this out:I've played Doom too many times on too many different platforms.
How similar to Doom 64? I owned that one too.Yes. Especially the second game.
