Do you have a favourite game that you haven't beaten?

A few i have, but i don't remember them all.
One of them is Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis, i couldn't beat this when i was a peeJigglykid 🤨

I may include Both Divinity Original Sin games.

Yeah the game super fun and good but my PC is ass :( I can run it at 60fps if I put it on lowest >< but for some reason I get FPS drops in fight and I mena proper lag spikes. Not sure if FSR is buggy or my PC to weak >.<
Tnx for the info. I think my PC should be fine to run it, but then again it can run Oblivion Remastered but
doesn't feel like running games as simple as F***ING PONG!!! Bigger issue is, here on the open seas I need twice the cargo space for that game to install it. Just don't have it right now.

17 HRS!?! Dang, are you downloading with America online dial-up?
just kidding. :loldog I'm actually very lucky, I live up in the Mountains, but I have Incredible WIFI,
but it is very expensive. At least for me. 2gig WIFI plus "invincible" backup (just means if the power goes out I still have WIFI. We get bad snow up here) all for $110 a month. I have no Idea If that is a comparable price to other markets and places, I never asked anyone and my WIFI company sure wouldn't tell me if I did ask.

Over the course of several months (due to other games and IRL responsibilities) about ~17 years ago, I sunk a lot of time & effort into Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. Got about 90~95% of the way through the game... and then my PSP was stolen... ::angrygenjin

I loved everything about that game, but I still haven't been able to bring myself to try again...

AH man, I had the same experience with Star Wars KOTOR on my droid Tablet. IT SUCKED ASS!!
I feel ya. Except I eventually finished it. Face your fears...

I always recommend Ni no Kuni as one of the best games on the PS3, but when I played it I never ended up finishing it. Game is like over 50 hours long so eventually I just got busy with other things. One of these days I'll start up another playthrough again, because it's been far too long now to just pick up where I left off.

Oh man yeah I really enjoyed the first four hours of Alien Isolation and then I hit a gamebreaking bug on PS4 and tried to rewrite my save but it reset all my progress. Maybe in another ten years I'll stop being angry about that and start from scratch.
Aw man, I know how that feels. Still salty about my DQ7 save, but I'm 89% over it.

@SoThankful @usergaycoolguy
You guys should stick it out (NO! not like that) and finish Isolation
I def will. Played the PS3 version, so might as well start over and play the gen after that.

For a retro game, Vagrant Story. The customization mechanics are very deep with the # of weapon types + the "counter" attacks. This is all while balancing your risk and trying to find vital parts of an enemy. The closest comparison to these mechanics is Parasite Even, but I'm still surprised Vagrant Story's mechanics haven't been pulled forward to recent times.

For a modern game, Elden Ring. I've sunk over 150 hours for a game I never finished. I do believe its one of the best games of all time with sophisticated and smart design decisions that it's hard to put down once it has its teeth in you. I know a "soulsborne" game is not everyone's cup of tea, but the fact that you can just move on to another area and explore the lore/environmental storytelling without brute forcing an area until you're stronger is perfection in my opinion.

Most of tales of. I love tales of, it is my fifth favorite videogame franchise ever, but they're jrpg, so they take hours and hours to get to the end. I have only finished Berseria and it seems Arise ending is not so far, but I fully intend to finish them all.

Yeah, DMC3, I've been playing it and is amazing!!!!! I'm in 15 mission, so wish me luck!!
Only five missions left. Yo can do it!!!!

Never beaten Mega Man and Bass, but it's one of my favorite games in the classic series. You can probably guess which stage I got stuck on.
I couldn't play the gba version at all, Played and beat both the snes and wonderswan...without the translation. -_- still need to beat exe. action one for gamecube.
Dead Rising i enjoy that game when i play it but i swear i never end up finishing it to the end of the campaign.
You can beat this game easily...start a new game, don't touch the controller for 7+ hours, get one of the 8 ending and game beat. EASY!!! unlike save all people. Took 5 hours just to save a big group just to pop an achievement. Worst achievement ever, but GREAT game.

ooh, I like this game. It's on my next ps2 to play...right after I finish Namco x Capcom.

Simphony of the night, 220%
cannot achieved it, tried multiple times, 2-3% less

also, NAM 1975 on Neo Geo
i can't beat the last boss, and you can't use continue there
GAME OVER

both playing legally ofc

I have Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+. I've beat it with all the characters on Normal, beat Greed mode, beat some on hard and doing the challenges to unlock stuff, but I've seen two or so challenges that are almost impossible to beat.

This one time I was playing Disco Elysium. Went in with zero expectations and knowledge of the game. By the time I got to the part where the two dudes sit at that snowy playground and wait for low tide or something, so they can get to the sunken police car, I knew it was something special (maybe I should make a thread about particular moments in a game that convince you it's great, but I digress).
Anyway, I was nearing the end of the game (like 90% there from what I could tell) then I had an SSD failure and lost my save file.
Since I don't bother with online platforms like steam (nothing wrong with them, just not something I use) I didn't have any backups of said save file. I'm going to wait until I forget the story a little, because otherwise I'll keep comparing my playthrough to the previous one...

I have never seen the credits of a Monster Hunter game before and i love them. Each and every one of them.
Also Psychonauts, i need to replay it and finish it this time.

Cave Story, that final boss with like 3 stages to it is insane. Also Hollow Knight since the harder bosses in the game are brutal af. I've gotten far in Dark Souls but not been back to finish it yet. Plenty of super long rpgs too. Probably my absolute favorite indie rpg is the freeware Japanese rpg maker 2000 game Seraphic Blue, but since it's like 60+ hours I've not completed it yet. It's one of the best jrpgs I've ever played

Recent one for me that I’m still playing is Atelier Yumia. As a long time Atelier fan I was chilly with it at first but stuck with I cause I usually get proven wrong… HOLY shit was I wrong. It’s a massive revolution that I could praise write a book about, the way synthesis (especially how you can shortened it), battle, traits (and trait synth), and gear was reorganized is just way ahead of the whole series.

And really important that the Atelier series does is that the advanced gameplay not forced, and it’s more in the player’s hands to experiment with mechanics and actually enjoy it instead of just making OP stuff to get the game over with.

I’m right before the endgame but I haven’t beat it yet cause I keep getting side tracked playing with all the effects and synth and rebuild. There’s always some weird way to make a shorter synth or elaborate battle style.
