The PC port has terrible frame pacing and stutters constantly whenever dialogue is played and when transitioning into or out of battle, so I hoped playing the Vita version would do the trick, but I'm getting crashes when leaving the menu.

Did anyone else have this problem and/or know a solution?

I noticed it crashed using the Vulkan backend instead of OpenGL. I'm using the latest nightly @ https://github.com/Vita3K/Vita3K/releases/download/continuous/windows-latest.zip?time=1739379215534

I'm using a Radeon 7800 XT GPU, OpenGL isn't friendly with radeon gpu's. The emulator works using OpenGL but graphics are weird as seen in the attached file.

I wonder if it has to do with the fact Im running at double resolution.
Never had problem with neither of both games. And I don't have a gaming PC, but a laptop.
Most games work fine for me, even far more demanding ones like Soul Sacrifice Delta. What settings are you running it with?

I never had problems with the PC port, never played the Vita version to compare tho. And I'm also on a not really poweful laptop, so it can probably be an issue on your system.
I doubt it, honestly, there are countless reports of microstutter and bad frramepacing on the PC version.

For real? I should read the reviews more. But well, I never had a problem, so my experience with the game might not be of help, sorry

I’ve only played Cyber Sleuth on PS4 and Hacker’s Memory on Vita (right now), and those versions worked fine. Are you emulating the Version?

Full screen 1080p. but I think I could "dare" a bit more. Anyway, it runs perfectly, never had frame rate issues.

Ah but the issue I'm having with this game on vita 3k is not framerate, but crashing. I'll try switching backends. As for the PC version, it's irredemably buggy for a lot of people because of microstutter, including myself.

It crashes using Vulkan backend, I'm using a Radeon 7800 XT gpu, I switched to OpenGL backend & it does not crash. I'm running the emulator with default settings. I don't notice microstutter. Attached are my specs. I'm using Samsung Odyssey G7 1440P @ 240 Hz, adaptive sync VRR. Does the microstutter involve shaders being compiled in the background?? Hardware requirements @ https://vita3k.org/quickstart.html
