Delisted and Lost Games

People still run MH Frontier private servers I believe. It's still very much a beloved game, though I never tried it.
I tried the Frontier private servers and i 100% recommend them ! They have a very active community and there are a lot pf friendly people (even if i tend to play more solo because… anxiety)

Of the two servers i tried (Mezelounge and the Rain Server) i have to say i prefer the Rain Server because is a lot more beginner friendly in terms of giving you access to more monsters at the beginning and feeling less grindy. Although i heard Mezelounge is more close to the original Frontier, for better or worse

I'm a solo hunter out of habit, and the fact I can't get any close friend interested in the game LOL
thanks for the info!

I have the fortune to know some irl people that like MH! Definitely a lot of fun to play with others :3 (although when Wilds came out the group kinda split because of pc differences snjdjdjd maybe we will come back when Master Rank is announced)

Eh, I'm not one of those that has to be on the bleeding edge to enjoy MH. I play the whole gamut, really and even prefer 4U and GU over the newer ones.

Delisted but Accessible by other means

I played the heck out of the demo on 360 back when that game came out. I missed out on getting it on xbox but i did in the past few years get a steam key from amazon, luckily.

Also on the Xbox 360, Marble Blast Ultra. a simple game but definitely one i wish i could own on my actual gamer profile.

Driver San Francisco and Prey 2006?
Former, yes. Latter, not quite. It’s on the Xbox store still which should count for something. It’s how I’m playing it.

Also as a general note, I think this is a fantastic thread to have pinned. Can be a great point of reference. My contribution to the thread is that it’s a huge shame that Deadpool and many Spider-Man games are no longer on steam. I enjoyed them quite a bit.

Also, you can technically play it on PS Plus, but streaming only, you can't even download a stable version to your hard drive. And NO pc version.

Off the top of my head:
- Sega's delisted titles (Dreamcast collection and Mega Drive collection).
- Sega's freeware games (Street of Kamurocho, 8-bit Bayonetta, etc.).
- The original PC port of Beyond Good and Evil.
- Spec Ops The Line.
- Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst.
- Many Telltale licensed games (Back to The Future and others).
- The Suffering 1 and 2.
- Onimusha 3 PC port.
- Silent Hills PT.
- Dark Void Zero.
- Oxenfree being delisted AND removed from your itchio library was crazy.
- The original FreeJack Online.
- Taiko Rhythm Connect (Android/iOS) shut down servers not so long ago.
- Shenmue City (only playable on japanese cellphones, though there was a PC port in the works that ended up getting canceled).
- All the Java/DoJa phone games that never got preserved.

There's too many of them it's just sad to list them all.

Dude you're not gonna believe this... LeapSchool Reading (and anything else from the IP) has been lost to time. I cannot find this game anywhere

I’m not a Transformers fan but I remember thinking Transformers Devastation was really neat.
Probably my favorite Platinum game of the ones I’ve played, got it on PS Plus a million years ago so I’m still able to download it from there if I have a sub going.
Same with the Telltale Back to the Future game.

BS Fūrai no Shiren: Surara wo Sukue

Is sadly not fully dumped (like many Broadcast Satellaview games).
The Satellaview games that are still missing was also an inspiration behind the thread idea.

A series as large as Zelda is very surprising to see have lost games. BS Zelda only had week 3 of its broadcast preserved, and fans have recreated the 4th week as best as possible.

Week 1 and Week 2's ROM dumps seem unlikely, given the nature of the games being unavailable to play normally after their broadcast time.

On a side note, where can I find a working rom of the game? Is there one recreating the original Zelda 1 (and its second quest)?

As well as Ancient Stone Tablets because I currently couldn't run the later on Snes9x.

I love that some recreated the Satellaview stuff like BS F-zero Deluxe adding back the lost Forest and Metal Fort.

Godzilla (PS4) English Version and Japanese version is unobtainable unless you were traveling back in time too 2014 to buy it at day one. Even the DLC which is Godzilla 2014 is forever gone. Damn licensing costs.
Right now, it stands as one of the most expensive PS4 games ever. A great Godzilla simulator if you ever have a chance to play it like i did.

Is After Burner Climax still on Android and Ios?

I believe that Internet Archive has some releases available, but I personally haven't had the chance to try them for myself. You may also have better luck on a blogspot to find the required ROMs. Zelda 1 does have a recreation available by the looks of it.
