Cautiously optimistic. They got The Offspring at least so that's a start, as well as the retro designs for the characters. They brought back Offspring All I Want

Resetera's losing their shit over this game using AI. Personally, I couldn't care less when it looks this good. None of these people cared when robots started replacing waiters at restaurants, but now technological advancement's coming for their white collar jobs and they're big mad.
Also i read the game has Denuvo DRM on PC, not a good sign.View attachment 195298
Bad news, Everyone
I don't care the slightest about ResetEra but it's not a matter of "looking good" but "made with an actual human intent behind" as Art as a whole is fundamentally human with emotions and personal past experience, no algorithm taking from anything they saw online and making a patchwork from it.Resetera's losing their shit over this game using AI. Because repetitive tasks are mind numbing and aren't creative jobs. I even believe that being a waiter (or any other menial task) doesn't prevent from having a passion project outside of the job.None of these people cared when robots started replacing waiters at restaurants, but now technological advancement's coming for their white collar jobs and they're big mad.
Most jobs aren't "creative." I like how you just brush off people losing minimum wage and blue collar jobs to technological advancements. Not everyone is a creative type. Do they not deserve to work and earn a living? You're okay with them being replaced? And that's why I don't give an actual fuck when it happens to the artsy fartsy creatives. Sayonara!Because repetitive tasks are mind numbing and aren't creative jobs.
It's fucking 2026, who the fuck is still using anti-piracy measures for a pc game? The recent Shinobi game had it tooAlso i read the game has Denuvo DRM on PC, not a good sign.
Creativity is more than just a job. it forms and shapes our very culture. we shouldn't let it be controlled by soulless slop machines made by greedy corporations. Most jobs aren't "creative." Do you really think someone working as a cashier at a supermarket or doing maintenance would prefer doing what they're currently doing? That minimum wage and blue collar aren't getting hurt after several years of doing their job? I'm not saying that everyone is a creative type but I seriously doubt that it's a good thing that AI is taking the more entertaining part of a job than the boring part. Most jobs aren't "creative." This is basically the issue about AI currently. I'd rather have machines doing the cleaning than people that break their back...Creativity is more than just a job. it forms and shapes our very culture. we shouldn't let it be controlled by soulless slop machines made by greedy corporations.
The people relying on that paycheck wouldn't.This is basically the issue about AI currently. I'd rather have machines doing the cleaning than people that break their back...
And how's that going?it forms and shapes our very culture.
a lot better than AI, thats for sure. And how's that going?
Yeah, AI's really struggling out there...a lot better than AI, thats for sure.
theres better ways to help our culture than machines that steal human ideas and art and shit them out in soulless pasteYeah, AI's really struggling out there...
Meanwhile, our "culture" has been in absolute fucking shambles well before AI.
They can do their art from home without having to work for a giant corpo. If they're good enough, they can make it on their own. Good luck!theres better ways to help our culture than machines that steal human ideas and art and shit them out in soulless paste
Ok, have fun with your AI slop. you'll miss those artists when they're goneThey can do their art from home without having to work for a giant corpo. If they're good enough, they can make it on their own. Good luck!
They can do it out of passion without corporate overlords breathing down their necks just like the jobless waiters.Ok, have fun with your AI slop. you'll miss those artists when they're gone
Their art can still exist, they'll just have to sell it on Etsy.
Living by the paycheck isn't the best way to live and I hope most will find a way to get better financially. The people relying on that paycheck wouldn't.
Carpentry and other specialized jobs like that are at least having some variety yet repetitive tasks and straining one (like construction) is hurting after a while.Anyway: carpenters, construction workers, plumbers, etc., A.K.A. labor intensive blue collar jobs, will survive, while all of your white collar workers will be utterly fucked. Womp, womp.
I like the pizza tower (yes I said it) but I hope that physics jank won't make it hard to properly play as an arcade game that needs precision.SEGA reviving old "arcade" games is like a dream come true. I just hope it plays well and feels exciting. The pizza boxes + the random "video game-y" physics is hilarious. I can't wait for IGN to give it a 6.8/10 and say "it has bad and intuitive physics."
Except they're not. They can go be creative on Etsy. Buh-bye!why are you happy that people are getting their creativity taken away? This is not only immature but disrespectful as it's thanks to art that we managed to thrive as humanity.
no ones yearning for blue collar people to lose their jobs, mate. you seem to have a vendetta to artists though. i want AI to improve peoples lives and help them, not replace them.Except they're not. They can go be creative on Etsy. Buh-bye!
Disrespectful is how you talk about jobs that aren't "creative" jobs. You find them completely throwaway. But won't I think of the poor wittle artists?
