It is disappointing. Guess I'll have to record some dialogue from Infinite Wealth to listen to when I play as Ichiban.

I'm wondering why they couldn't recycle old samples even for basic actions. Maybe licensing issues regarding the voice actor's royalties?

All I know is that Deem Bristow voiced Robotnik even after his passing in one game (I think it was Riders, using voice recordings he has done).

I think the official reason from SEGA was not being able to get third-party companies to agree on the unique character interactions. That doesn't excuse the characters they own, however

I'll be honest, I don't really care about character interactions in the game, it's just secondary.

On a side note I'm wondering why Classic Sonic isn't in the roster as another bonus character.

The full free DLC roster hasn't been released yet. Maybe it's been leaked, but I don't know. Maybe he'll be part of that?

for what its worth, i already have more hours on crossworlds than transformed, and i played transformed a lot

I'm reviving this thread a bit because I cannot wait for Nights to finally come in

It's the Journey of Dreams design unfortunately but I don't mind. The hoverboard is the right vehicle for that character.

I played it at a friend's place a couple months ago and had a lot of fun, so I picked it up for PS5 when it was on sale for 30 bucks during Black Friday. I'm not familiar with the other Sonic racing games, it just feels satisfying. There's a good sense of speed, the items are decent enough, it looks and sounds great, and the rival and gadget gimmicks make it feel unique compared to Mario Kart. I've only played solo a little bit but I'm looking forward to playing online at some point.

so I picked it up for PS5 when it was on sale for 30 bucks during Black Friday.

I really wish the game was sold at 45 bucks for the base price (and 60 for the Deluxe).

and the rival and gadget gimmicks make it feel unique compared to Mario Kart.

While it's good on paper it also kinda unbalances the game because people with the lowest level of Gadgets won't be advantaged and some combos are overpowered.

I can't wait to get this game. I'm using Mega Man, NiGHTS, Amy and Metal Sonic.

I don't like the non video game characters outside of TMNT but just for Protoman I wanna buy the DLC.

Too bad his shield couldn't be an Extreme Gear.

And I kinda wish Classic Sonic was another character
