Hum... this one is interesting. I used to love all the old Laserdisc/FMV games and kind of still do. Thought I played most of the ones released in the 80's but I cannot at all remember such a game. l assume we are talking around 1985?

My first thought when I read your description was Taito's Chase HQ, but of course that one is not FMV and released a bit later.

I do remember a Laserdisc futuristic bike game from I believe Williams, but not cars. Also there is a racing game from Sega (I believe) released on MSX Laserdisc. Then of course there are old VHS games and such.

Do you remember anything else about it?

I thought about it some more, pretty sure you are talking about Street Viper?
Wanted to say yes, but years wrong. Chased a trans am, red or perhaps maroon, (definitely not a viper) think car had the bird on hood. It was around the mid 80s, the NES wasn't out in the US yet. Adults would call games "stupid" after games were being wiped out, being "uncool." Would hear stuff like that while I sat down playing having time of my life, rather play this game than ski ball and other games Chucky Cheese had.

The Driver, maybe?

there was this dsi game i used to play when i was a kid. it was a fashion game where you would pick out clothes for customers. i thought it was style savvy, but i'm almost certain it was less anime. for some reason, i remember the style of one specific brand logo in the game. i recreated it as best i can for reference.

This may be a little broad but here goes, it was for PS1, a JRPG that had multiple discs. I remember being able to name your own character, recruit a bunch of people and I specifically remember you could get money from this little minigame where it's the 3 cups and you have to find the cup with the chip in it after its randomized.

I played that game for days at a time when I was like 7 and now I can't remember what it is to save my life

I can't quite remember this game from the PS1 and N64 era. I think it was a 3d scroller in 3rd person and the main character was a child who could use toys to interact with the world. I don't remember if those toys were equipped ala Ape Escape or just laying around.

maybe this forum can help me in my lifelong lifehunt
i played a top down perspective, 2d game on my computer in the early 2000s in which you played as a little creature bouncing back and forth, and you would click on pipes on screen to bounce the little yellowish creature through a path to his goal
i recall that the pipes were blue and there were even boss fights
it could have been a proper pc game release, or a flash game for all i recall
i have looked for this game on and off for maybe a decade now

I watched a Youtube video recently with a name that was something like "this SNES RPG wants to mess with your mind".

It was Super Famicom RPG that was only recently translated which was non-fantasy, possibly urban setting, the person reviewing it said it was excellent and worth playing. Unfortunately I lost the video and the game title. I looked at some lists which weren't much help.

I can go through compilation vids to find it but wondered if anyone knows which game I am talking about.

With that information is very difficult to get the picture. How the game looked like? anime style? combat system? main character outlook? that information is easily seen even from a short video of a RPG game.

Try checking your YouTube history tab if you haven't already. It goes back pretty far and you might be able to find it by just typing "SNES RPG" or something to that effect.

Sound like G.O.D aka Growth Or Devolution or Linda Cube, but there are other like Adventure Of Hourai High,Ihatovo Monogatari, which also set in urban setting

G.O.D. probably. There aren't a ton of SNES RPGs with a modern setting. If it's not a RPG but an adventure game, it's probably this:

Or it's Linda Cube on the PS1.
Ihatovo Monogatari. That's the one. Thank you.

I think I'd like to check those other games out as well.

Is it Suikoden 1? It's single disc though but the only game that comes to my mind for the 3 cups minigame and everything else.

Probably not the end of your hunt, but maybe Speedy Eggbert ? Yellow creature, blue pipes

It took me years to remember this game, first saw it being played by a guy in a cyber when i was 5, then i remembered it when i was 21 and saw it on a youtube video, and mind you, this game was released as a free download sponsored by the US Air Force.

Hello friends! There's a PS2 or PS3 game that I've been trying to remember for almost two years now, but I just can't seem to find it. Recently, I decided to play some old games through an emulator (like Jak, DMC 1-2-3, Metal Slug, Onimusha, etc.), and it felt really great. However, I still can't find that one game I've been thinking about for years. I remember it being a mix of Onimusha and DMC, though it might not actually be like that.

I only recall a very short 2-3 second clip: Imagine you're in a boss arena—a circular room. I distinctly remember the main character having a cape (ım not sure) (possibly a sword user?). That boss room had a brain-like structure, with round, eye-like things popping up from the ground. There were vein-like textures on the floor and walls, and I'm somewhat sure the ground looked like a brain. One of the enemies attacking us was something like worms coming out of the ground, or maybe some kind of energy wave, but it also had a fleshy texture.

The graphics weren't bad for its time—I remember the textures and effects being fairly detailed, which made the whole "living" environment even creepier!

If you could help me find it, I’d be really happy! When I played it as a kid, it got me so excited—I even got scared and asked my mom, "Do people’s brains look like that when they die?" :D I’m sure I played this game between 2005-2007, and it was either a PS2 or PS3 game.

Finding video games for people are hard despite you know many games because many games has similar elements, so I directly remembered this but I can recall many games like that:

The video should start in a specific time I especially set that shows a similar moment in the game. If not check 3:29:46.
