Bad games that should get a remake/remaster

Personally I want Rygar remade. The PS2 action was passable but they didn't include any of the exploration. I think making a new version of the NES game with modern tweaks could be an absolute banger.

Find it ironic Street Figther II has been ported to even toasters, but the first Street Fighter has been left on the dirt

I know right, it's baffling when you take into account all the Capcom rereleases and remasters. I'm still waiting for "Street Fighter: The Good Edition".

Magical Doropie for the NES (The Krion Conquest in the US).
This game is a Mega Man copycat in a few ways, and while the game isnt like... the worst... the controls are still clunky and the game isn't all that fun to play, even though I feel it has massive potential to be something awesome. I will say though that a person going by "Diamond Hero" is working on this very idea, called Magical Doropie DX, built off the framework of Mega Man 2+.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sun-Zero, they should revamp this one and give it a MK Shaolin Monks treatment.

Eat Lead, absolutely. A bad game so stupidly good it's not even funny

Streetwise is probably the more complicated one since I could do with either a commitment to the original vision or trying to make the final release's tone and style work. Nostalgia for 6th/7th gen is already pretty high and I think revisiting the time period through a game that tried and failed to be "cool" could serve as an interesting jumping off point for a deeper discussion or exploration of what things were really like back then. It is also criminal that Final Fight fans just haven't gotten anything from Capcom in terms of a sequel.
Or just give us a proper Seven Sons game like how it was supposed to be originally. Otherwise, the closest to a 3D Final Fight sequel is Street Fighter 6 World Tour Mode. It's crazy we got a Streets of Rage 4, TMNT:Shredder's Revenge (in the style of Turtles in Time), and even a new Rushing Beat before a new Final Fight.

you just don't want them to remove the tits pov
Noes! I like guys, more seriously I just dislike the idea of the devs taking the game in a different direction. For me even something as subtle as the lighting is important and changing that can dramatically feel what the original developers intended for a scene, that's not even touchiing on big decisions like art direction or the actual gameplay. It needs to be handled with love and care, not remade in their own vision to be 'improved' (or at least that's what I believe) and bluepoint kind of did that.

I don't know if it counts as a "bad" game, but i'd like to see a remake of lufia and the fortress of doom, the game is kind of a black sheep for a jrpg.

Others hmm, maybe beyond the beyond?
Cliche story aside i had fun with it.

For me its easily Gungage
An incredibly interesting, sci-fi, 3D run n gun game from konami on the ps1 with fantastic music but DOGSHIT controls that make it completely unplayable.(At least for me)

The first Rayman, hot take but the game is literally untested and unpolished, so a remake in the Engine of Origins, especially since they let it be tested properly this time would make the first Rayman more known to newcomers alike, especially if the difficulty is swapped from "wrong" to "proper"

Streets Of SimCity deserves better than whatever the hell Maxis did with it originally... Sometimes, you can almost feel the internal struggles eating up a developer from the inside while they worked on something and this is definitely one such case.

Yes, they were experiencing monstrous quarterly losses. Yes, they had stretched themselves too thin by working on half a dozen cancelled titles. Yes, it was a hopeless situation... But they could have done better, you know? They certainly had the pedigree for it.

Digimon World 2, I love the game, but it aged very poorly it's slow as hell and runs like shit. Additionally it could improve from quality of life improvements and in general a complete redesign of the dungeons since they are basically copy and paste.
