It is like a mix of a Phanto from Super Mario Brothers 2/Yume Koujou - Doki Doki Panic and Monokuma from Danganronpa!
Such an exotic combination!

I don't know how to say it in words but the stools looks flat and feels like its a 2d image added in.
next would be the roof and the window it just feels off.

Yeah, I noticed that it when I finished. After looking from afar. Watercolor is a bisch sometimes, things can move on you when you are removing or applying more paint. I need to git gud.

yeah water coloring is rough
my experience with it is that you cant just do it in one go and you cant just leave it alone to dry either or else when you come back after a few hours you'll see the paint dripping all over the place on your canvas measuring the ratio of water you put in your brush is also a pain to deal with as well
10/10 cool too look at other do it but suffering to do it yourself

it's a turn based fantasy game with horror & adventure elements, big focus is on storytelling & world building.
It takes place in a medieval fantasy/steampunk/tudor era hybrid setting that I originally developed for a DnD campaign years back & i kinda just kept coming up with ideas for lol

in terms of this game i'm trying to keep things simple as i'm still learning how to code in gbstudio. been working a lot on the battle scene & the ability to speak to enemies in battle (sorta like the SMT games)
currently buried in spreadsheets covering enemies/items/stats/formulas and working on visuals & music to not go crazy.
