Everything I've drawn this week. I was hoping I could draw Rathalos better, but its not bad for my first attempt of not only a wyvern, but also a Monster Hunter Monster. Maybe next week I can draw a full wyvern or that hellkite from Dark Souls.

Sock Erä Burké (Im not sure if I already posted him or not before but he has a name now :3)
Nyūsa Tsu. Vérkrov’ (A recreation and redesign of an old character I made as a teen, her original name was Aruna but I decided to go with something more creative)
3&5, 5 is a picture featuring a new character named Ruby titled “Ruby’s First Steps”, and 3 is a front vector of him (I think it may also be the first time I made a character vector with a background, I might wanna try and do that more often :))

Okay uhhh I finally finished Teto σ(￣、￣〃)

I don't know what to say, but I kinda got bored working on it for long (a week or so (￣□￣」) ) that I just haphazardly put up a background a called it a day, and I can't really decide whether I like the one with or without background so I made both

definitely the one thing I learned from this one and want to improve it in the next piece is shadow shapes and appealing shapes in general
because I learned while making this the following :
a correct shadow does not equal an appealing one __φ(．．;)
like an earlier version I had more shadows on the bangs thinking logically that "they should be in shadow" but it made the drawing feel "heavy" for lack of a better word, so when I browsed art I like I noticed the majority of artist do not shade the bangs or they do it veeeeeeeeery slightly
because uhh and this is my own analysis is that adding more shadow shapes increases information And modifies the big bangs shapes into smaller ones which might not what you want

I blabbered a lot but I'm still thankful for working on this one cuz it I learned a lot from it and I'm excited to apply my hypothesis on future ones ! (≧▽≦)/

So cute and so pretty!!!!! Can't wait to see your next doodle! Really love the pose and color scheme, the background on the top works really well for how quick you make it.

Thank you I tried to really limit my colors, and not over render it to oblivion I'm purposely actively trying to simplify and see how much can I get away with in terms of shading. Next time I want to try your idea of having predetermined colors so I don't have to guess too much

Wow, this ones REALLY pops, the choice of colors really is great. And I actually prefer the BG version! 'cause it just adds to the whole mood! I totally hear ya on the shadow part though haha.

Thank you! I have yet to watch Metropolis but i love Blade Runner and Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, and the art-deco is one of my favourite artistic movements. Here's my first collage of the month, done for a digital magazine called Lafarium:

The feeling is mutual body, I know it always feels better to start something new rather than finishing what you started that's why I try to limit myself to 2 things at max (even with games lol) regardless it's also important to balance between having fun and forcing yourself to do stuff so don't feel guilty for doodling in the end you are making pretty art either way finished or not (=^ ◡ ^=)
