Art dumping

I like thicc RGT-tan.

Was inspired by @Anim8rDude bringing up my old gijinka designs to revisit my RGT-Tan design View attachment 141318

Redid my MGD-Chan design, I tried to lean more into @MasterEn’s original concept for her design - being the inverse of RGT-Tan.
(Didn’t feel like rendering ::cirnoshrug)

Going to follow Nebulon’s recommendation and do more fun stuff. That means more amano and final fantasy inspired sketches. Here’s my first attempt.

Finally finished. It turned out better than I expected, tbh. I might do more FFT characters. Let me know what you think.

I know nothing about watercoloring but I think these look great. I'll admit though that Delita looks better! Less outlines & cleaner & more natural looking! I'm guessing you found your groove at that point.

That's right! I definitively like how Delita turned out more than Ramza. I also figured out how to make armor look like a hard surface with the hard edges, plus the leather look for the pants and the boots.

I will tell you that doing fine linework in watercolor is tricky. Sometimes the lines go thicker than you'd expect since its a liquid medium. So yeah, sometimes its annoying like that. Not everything is intentional but you have to go with the flow or cover mistakes.

depends on how shaky we are talking about but my hands aren’t the steadiest either. Especially when I drink coffee. There are tools for everything and they can help you with circles. And practice goes a long way. Of course I’m just an amateur so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I would make art, but my hands are shaky. Too shaky. Might as well draw a lopsided circle & call it a day lol
Even more reason to get into art, it’s beneficial for one’s motor and coordination skills. Making drawings/art in general is really good for you

"needs more volume", pretty sure that isn't the issue with bottom right
Originally wrote it to remind myself "Yo, focus & fix the hair it looks flat" but as usual just went straight to trying out color stuff instead. Left it there for the possible double-meaning ::lurking

I started off drawing an outfit from a game, but then it evolved into something else!
