Lightgun games! I have a CRT, with some systems hooked up, but it's only good for VHS tapes really, and attempts to pop it open and make some changes have mostly just threatened my dumbass life.

Yup, but not many. A few years ago I couldn't play nor emulate PS2, until I got the console. Soon I could easily emulate ps2 on my current pc but still play it sometimes on the og console, nothing beats og hardware. There are a few games for X360|PS3 that I can't emulate and I don't have the console yet, those games are:
* Condemned II: Bloodshot [X360|PS3]
* Silent Hill Downpour [X360|PS3]
* Shadows of the Damned [X360|PS3]
* Splatterhouse [X360|PS3]
* COD Black Ops II (Won't run on my pc, gonna have to play the X360 version)
* Rise of Nightmares [X360 Kinect Exclusive]
* Golden Axe: Beast Rider [X360|PS3]
* Gunvalkyrie [XBOX Exclusive]
* Dino Crisis III [XBOX Exclusive]
* Blood Wake [XBOX Exclusive]
* Breakdown [XBOX Exclusive]
* Classified: The Sentinel Crisis [XBOX Exclusive]
* The Calling [WII Exclusive|Requires WIImote]
Those are pretty much the games I cannot play right now, as soon as I got my X360 I would be able to play almost all of them, using XBOX backwards compatibility. I would like to play the Uncharted trilogy for ps3 but not my cup of tea. Then there are newer PC games that won't run properly on mine. Fortunately, I am able to play 95% of the games I want, and that's amazing.

I also have a CRT, all I need is a light gun but my crt is failing a lot. You can play light gun games on emulator using mouse and it's a good experience IMHO, but the ideal way of playing them is on a crt with the gun
