Are there any games you've always wanted to play but can't because you don't own the only device they run on?

I've always wanted to at least try Naruto Rise of a Ninja. But I've never owned an Xbox console in my life, and even if I wanted one, apparently the game is one of the few that isn't compatibly with the backwards compatibility from the Xbox One or Xbox Series.

I want to play Tomodachi Life really bad but I don't like DS/3DS emulation because it's weird with how the screens get set up and touch control can be rough. I need a 3DS. And a Dreamcast, I really want to play Sonic Adventure 2 on original hardware.

Blue dragon for me.

Demons' Souls.
Never went outside of Ps3 -And when it did with the remake, that never got outside the ps5 -_-

Other than that, MGS4 (The only one i haven't played yet cuz i cant!)

And bloodborne ofc

It seems that the second game is playable, and it has a remastered version of the first game in it, with a lot of changes that makes the game better from what I heard.

Really? I tried it a bit and at least in the initial parts seems to be running perfectly. That's a shame...

Shoutout to these 2 bros, White Knight Chronicles 2 is really playable on my gaming laptop.
I mean, it has some fps drops, but I guess it won't be much of a problem. Better than nothing, after all.

Thanks folks!

Definitely Bloodborne, for me. No way I'm getting a PS4 just for that, and, really, unless Sony is planning a PS5 port (which they should have if they hope to actually sell the machine), I don't see why it can't come to PC already.

most psvita games... I'm devastated that i cannot play soul sacrifice because sony refuses to release it anywhere except their dead console, and I'm unsure of how vita emulation is.

It's great that they're porting Freedom Wars but Soul Sacrifice still being stuck on Vita does suck quite a lot.

My experience emulating Soul Sacrifice Delta has been positive. It's probably a demanding game but it runs rather well. The problem is that accessing a mechanic called "rumors" crashes the game, I'm not sure if it requires some sort of networking layer or something.

Metal Gear Solid 4, i really want to play that game, and i'm praying for Konami to port it to PC.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories. I know it’s definitely not popular but how could I not want to play a Silent Hill themed Diablo clone???

Super Mario Odyssey, the new Zelda games, Pokemon Pikachu and Eevee, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and Super Mario 3D Collection 3D All Stars, for Nintendo Switch.

heard about the Panzer Dragoon series as a kid and was immediately obsessed, i was basically the dragon version of a horse girl as a kid to the extent that i rented the reign of fire gamecube game multiple times despite that game being terrible.

so when i first got into emulation and found out that saturn emulation was not possible at the time, Panzer Dragoon became my white whale, i eventually got to play Oorta and the first game, but i didnt get to play Saga and Zwei until 2020. well into my adulthood.

Whats crazy is that despite decades of hyping myself up about Saga in particular, I wasnt at all disapointed. If you havent played it I highly recommend it. It's probably my favorite JRPG of all time, and Zwei is definitely my favorite on rails shooter.

nier automata... i actually played it once but in "ps1" mode, it was good but my pc would overheat from 10 minutes of gameplay so i cant say that i really played it and then my pc broke and im stuck with a crappy asus that can only play visual novels l i f e i s g o o d.

I feel ya. Always wanted to play it too, Nier Automata seems like a great game, but the farthest my potato notebook can go is a couple of ps2 games
