A Rocketeer game that is able to properly adapt the visual style of Dave Stevens would be great. I know it has had a few games but your idea for it sounds like the best approach to take for making a game for this character. Dark Void seems to be closest to a Rocketeer game that I could think of but that did have some cover based shooting. The Rocketeer 3rd person shooter
Zip around shoot bad guys and give'em some righteous uppercuts. NO COVER BASED SHOOTING. I'm thinking the combat pace would be similar to Control by Remedy or 007 First Light where you're always on the move and being agressive against superior numbers. Plus flying dogfight style sections would be a must.
An Onimusha style Elric does sound like an interesting approach. Most Elric fans I've come across seem to lean more towards wanting an open world game where you can explore the Young Kingdoms. Though it would be interesting to see how the magic system would work in an Elric game. While it is more a fantasy book series , it has alot of comics too and i would like to play an adventure as the Weird white wolf himself . Something akin more like the original Onimusha-series and the same level design approach like i said with the Slaine game . More grounded but still spectacular with fights to survive and not to style over .
Exploring the young kingdoms in an openworld sounds great at first but that tends to explain too much lore that is shaded with mysteries and the elric stories are more about the adventures which he goes through while stormbringer , his heritage or the gods throws at him with conflicts and twists that he isnt prepared for . It makes the world a generic dark fantasy landscape to traverse with the lack of aspects which made this world so hostile , dark and cold from the beginning .An Onimusha style Elric does sound like an interesting approach. Yeah I would agree with you there. I can understand the appeal of wanting to explore that world but I personally am just burnt out on open world games. Also would prefer it to not be a soulslike.Exploring the young kingdoms in an openworld sounds great at first but that tends to explain too much lore that is shaded with mysteries and the elric stories are more about the adventures which he goes through while stormbringer , his heritage or the gods throws at him with conflicts and twists that he isnt prepared for . But thats my two cents .

These two may be the coolest ideas that came out of this thread. Onimusha style Elric sounds like a banger. I wish someone did that.Devilman was already a badass manga-series and it would be great to have a game more like Ninja Gaiden .
Garfield seems to have alot of games. Are really none of them any good ?+Garfield could qualify
-But Garfield had games already
+The thread said GOOD games
...Had another Lackadaisy dream. This time it was about a Lackadaisy video game, which played like a mix of Mafia II and a Telltale game. It had the semi-sepia tone aesthetic of the comic, with things like fire and blood colored. It took place in 1932 in Chicago, and followed Rocky, now a hardened badass complete with trench coat and facial scar, in his attempts to save a prostitute named Mona from the Italian Mob. This was not out of the kindness of his heart- he had ulterior motives, although it was never revealed what they were. It also revealed that several major characters had died, including Calvin, Mordecai and Sedgewick (the latter of whom killed himself after losing everything in 1929, and it was hinted that the Calvin and Mordecai killed each other in a gunfight). Viktor and the Savoy's were definitely still alive, and the latter two even shared a common enemy with Rocky. The dream started out with Rocky killing some gangsters about to rough up Mona, and ended in a massive gunfight set in a Hooverville (I don't remember much of the rest). This was apparently only one third of the game however.
Nah, it wasn't random since he and the turtles crossover every now and then.I believe he had at least one, but a great Beat-em-Up or Stylish action game could be done with Usagi Yojimbo, yup, that rabbit that appeared randomly on Shredder's Revenge is from its own comic series
Really? it's been millenia since i saw any showNah, it wasn't random since he and the turtles crossover every now and then.
The 2003 cartoon had him in some episodes.Really? it's been millenia since i saw any show
He's been there since the original Mirage comicsReally? it's been millenia since i saw any show
Huh, at least i got better than believing he was made for the game before investigating where he came fromThe 2003 cartoon had him in some episodes.
