Anime based on video games

Tights are sexy indeed when other pieces of clothes don't cover a girl's body, especially her butt.
It's still weird to consider legs too suggestive from their standpoint.

In fact sometimes adding clothes implies that they're naked. Like when Sally Acorn in that one Sonic comic was requested to wear a jacked which actually insisted on her not wearing any clothes.

Back to the subject: Yes, this is technically animation hahaha!

cuz God forbid showing women's feet
I'm tempted to make a joke regarding feet but I think I want to keep some decency on this forum.

I love these visuals:

I've watched it many years ago. Not something to write book about but still it was interesting and decent.

It's Western animation. If it was Japanese, I would include it at my list since at my list I also include 3D anime.

As far as anime based on games go, my favorite is the Sonic OVA from the 90s. The scene where Sonic goes into the dark world perfectly captures the feel of the games in my opinion.

Surprisingly, Salamander had an OVA also:

The Adventure Island series also had its own spin-off anime called Bug tte Honey

Twin Bee had a radio drama series but later on there was an OVA released as a tie-in

And this one technically doesn't count because it's actually based on a book, but Megami Tensei had an OVA as well. The first game in the series is also based on the book, so all 3 are the same story with some differences between them. But the Megami Tensei series has had other anime adaptations over the years, some of which were based on the games like the Devil Children series - although that one might have been a mixed media franchise, I'm not sure.

Lists like that only have a few popular anime. Also they include American cartoon like you mentioned. Which is why I started said list of mine.
Retrocrush is a streaming service, not a list site. and a legitimate one too. though Power Stone was not on it like I thought. that's on me.
if you are in a US streaming area or have a VPN, maybe give it a shot?

I know about Retrocrush since it's heavily advertised at YouTube. Still thanks for recommendations. However I prefer torrents over streaming services.

Fair.
I kinda don't get ads on YT on my computer, so I don't know whats advertised there. Google will have to pry my ad blocker form my cold dead hard drive

My bad. By advertisement I mean being often showed at "recommended videos" and every time you try to watch an old anime at YouTube. But yeah, at PC I use ublock origin to block most kinds of ads.

Fair enough again.
I got nothing, carry on

Oh yes. The Animal Crossing anime was very cute and enjoyable, much like the game.
And it even has the same soundtrack with the game, including KK Slider song.

Such a crime they never made another Animal Crossing movie, especially with the game's popularity being higher in later games. ?

I'll digress a bit but this is a much better way to introduce the human world to the franchise than having Sonic pop up randomly in a city filled with cars and humans in Sonic Adventure.

Actually they're monkeys

Actually they're monkeys.
Didn't the comic call them Overlander because Mobius is set in the far future where animals evolved while humans kinda became smaller with 4 fingers?

I'm a noob at Archie lore (especially when it rebooted twice) but I feel that Sega and the Sonic Team straight up rejecting the American lore of the franchise in Adventure created a schism in the fanbase.

I do like Japanese Sonic (especially with him being born on Christmas Island) but they could've kept Mobius as the planet's name and explained why there are humans.

Has anyone mentioned The World Ends with You, Danganronpa and Sonic X?

I love The World Ends with You video game but the anime adaption was a huge disappointment and felt so rushed and cheapass. Same goes for the Legends of Mana anime (it was kinda better than The World Ends with You anime but still it could be much better).

Hi btw

There is Goemon ova(that parodies other Konami franchises like twinbee, gradius and castlevania) and one tv series.

I remembered theres was also some obscure Mario anime movie:

I've heard negative comments about it, especially since it has nothing to do with the games and it's another reverse isekai anime where video games characters are traveling to the real world. Just like that weird Megaman OVA.

The Tv series is quite bad, I agree.
The Ova, I liked it, it's humor is quite faithful to the games.

Cool. I wasn't aware of it. I added it to my list.
Shame they never tried to make a small series with the first game.

Even if the main issue about Zero Escape is that the whole series is about
redoing the same story again and again to get the best path since your character can switch timelines
so that would make it harder narratively.

Maybe 428 as a novel could've worked.
