Hello buddies from all over the world. Do any of you still have any of these old keypad (mobile) phones? I have a small collection of Nokia models, practically among the latest models produced with micro-SD slot, and specifically three Series40 models (Nokia 206, Nokia 207, Nokia 301) and one s60 (Nokia c5-00), all in excellent aesthetic and functional conditions, and all with 240x320 graphic resolution, the best for java games.
As for me, I use them to play the legendary j2me games, especially the Gameloft, E.A. titles and some fantastic, little-known chinese titles (e.g. vertical shoot'm'ups and Castlevania clones). I know very well that there are java emulators for PC or Android, but playing them on real hardware is a completely different experience. Even with just one hand, the thumb wriggling on the micro-joypad over the numpad.
What do you think? Do you still own any old s40/s60 keypad Nokia, Samsung, Ericsson models or similar? Do you use them to play or even make calls? Could you take a photo of your devices and post it here? Let me know your opinion on this topic. Everyone is welcome.
Thank you.
LYA. Yours truly.
