I've asked around to other friends who have seen a lot more anime than I have, and no one has any idea what this could've been from.
I'm not even sure where I saw it, I assume just stumbled upon it randomly on Youtube. In any case, I thought it was an early Miyazaki work, before Ghibli started making feature length films, but I honestly don't know, nothing seems to match. There was a young woman inside of an airship or some such mechanical room. She runs along, grabs a cloth of some sort and ties it around her waist (this is the only really distinguishing feature I can recall) then proceeds to push against some bandits, overpowering them. I think it was an airship, as I remember someone in a cockpit or something turning around. Tying the skirt mid-fight is the only detail I can really remember clearly, and I can't find anything that matches it.
This really isn't much to go off of, but I'm struggling to find it. I haven't seen many Ghibli movies, but I'm pretty sure it's not the few I have like Nausicaa. For some reason I thought it was something from Lupin III or another show they did as contract work, but I haven't been able to find anything. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.
