I was not expecting much from such a simple game in concept, but it works quite well. A dungeon crawler on rails (sounds weird, I know) with 5 floors of 100 steps each, you have to save passengers of the ark Noir while fighting monsters. It's tough, RNG can and will screw you hard, and honestly, the story and characters aren't super interesting, but I was still invested and I replay it from time to time trying to get better runs.
It's a fun rogue-like with a card and mana system that I was really into for a month, the story is actually interesting and the music is great. I haven't played it for quite some time though, should get back to it and 100%.
I guess I could compare it to King's Field? It's a really ugly game (seriously, it looks like an asset flip and the presentation is dry as hell, characters don't even have portraits), yet I played through it twice, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Simple pleasures are the best, I guess.
It's Pokemon. It's a good Pokemon game. Good.
A 2D shooter where you have to defend objectives against mechs each day, while getting
payed stiffed on your pay by your oppressive government, while said pay is what you need to get stuff to defend these bloody objectives. Comes with cute girls, guns and seriously, fuck taxes.
It's nice. A bit on the easy side and nothing revolutionary, but fun nonetheless.
