Your first gaming platform?

My dad had a Coleco Telstar that I might've had a go on first, but I was born right around the time of the 2600 launch, so that's the first one I really remember. First computer was a Commodore 64. :)

Super Nintendo (Donkey Kong Country bundle) in 1996 !
It was nice to finally have a gaming console !
Surprisingly Pokemon Red/Blue made it last longer than it should have since some of my classmates had the Super Gameboy and they apparently preferred to play in the house I lived at so yeah :O

My first video game console was the Nintendo DS which I got for Christmas. I remember being disappointed because it wasn't a LEGO set. Nowadays, I'm glad my parents got me that as I actually learned to appreciate it after a couple months of playing it with friends.

Technically a 101-games Tetris device, but lets just say the SNES with the super scope and mario all stars.

Game & Watch Donkey Kong, the first with a D-pad!

First gaming platform would be the Gamecube with it's unique controller, had one of the best exclusive titles at the time, and with really cool add-ons such as the gameboy player and the gba gamecube link cable.

I have a hard time remembering it, but I think it went like this:
PlayStation 1
GameCube
PlayStation 2
Xbox 360
PlayStation Portable
PlayStation 3
Wii
PlayStation 4
WiiU

I started playing in the gameboy color and the ps1 of my cousin, but the first one I has was a gameboy advance sp

Technically it would be an NES but, my earliest memory that I'm able to remember is getting a Sega Genesis with Sonic 2 for Christmas in 1993 so I'll always say Genesis.

My first video games were LCD games which I posted in the other topic on first video games, but my first video game platform was the Atari 2600 Jr. I believe I got it around 1988.

I still have and use the same unit as when I was a kid, even the box is fully intact

My uncle gave me the console with a whole bunch of games and among those games was a fascinating Yar's Revenge bootleg called Yar's Attack which hasn't been dumped to this day.
So for me, the Yar's game I grew up with was always Attack, not Revenge, I had no idea that Revenge was the real one for years.
I still own the same cart as back then

What I really really like about this version is that the shield around the enemy ship is green instead of orange which I feel fits the vibe of the game much better

I really dislike playing Yar's Revenge with the organge shield for some reason lol, shame this one hasn't been dumped.

Another interesting games that my Atari 2600 came with was UFO Patrol or X'Mission as it's also known, this one isn't a very common game but it's one of my absolute favorite 2600 titles and it really captures that trippy color changing neon 80's atmosphere perfectly.

PSX (1998) was my first, along with FF VII, Dance dance revolution, road rush and Xenogears
