There's a lot more of course, but these I would say are my top 3.
My number one would be Maaya-san

In terms of like, an artist I went out of my way to look into more afterward, in recent memory there was Suga Shikao whom i had heard on the opening themes for xxxholic and Boogiepop Phantom. the latter in particular is probably one of my fave OPs from stuff i've watched in the last year. I really like his calming voice and funk-influenced instrumentals

This reminds me, Tetsuro Oda did little solo parts of the Dragon Ball GT opening Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku in this video:

His voice is so good! Man how I wish he would cover the entire song!

Her songs for Evangelion and outside are just fuel for the soul. I think my utter favorite of hers is Souls Refrain Aqua Groove Mix. Her Album Iravati is fantastic as well!
