  • Gear Deathblows have been buffed and granted effects. Details are in the wiki.
  • Softsubs are now supported.
  • E Circuits have been named Eth Circuits.
  • Shakhan's speech has been reverted back to using tags so the player can advance at their own will.
  • Weaken and Wither Deathblows now function correctly.
  • Sky Attack now adds Wind to attacks as intended as opposed to inflicting an Earth weakness.
  • Ukigumo and Amaoto now boost attack as intended.
  • HP Drives no longer boost EP and increase HP by 25 rather than 4.
  • Deathblow effects are now more likely to trigger.
  • Heimdall's Sazanami has been nerfed. Details are in the wiki.
  • The fight against Alpha Weltall at Raziel's Tree has been nerfed. Details are in the wiki.
  • Booster now works as intended.
  • Weltall 2 and Type 1 Vierge no longer have hyphens.
  • Everything up to entering Mahanon has been updated.
  • Escape Ignis' chapter name has been fixed.
  • It is clearer in specific battles who the speaker is.
  • 1.5x experience and 1.5x gold are now separate features.
  • The name "Aerods" has been changed to "AERODs".
  • Throne and Seraphita's dialogue in battle no longer identifies them as the enemy text box already specifies who is speaking.
  • Deathscythe is now one word.
  • Elly's damage drop text has been changed to sound less misleading.
  • Deathblow names have been restored through a fake VWF.
  • Billy's guns have been reformatted in the menu to match the script.
  • Jessie has been renamed to Jesse.
  • Maison has been renamed to Mason.

  • Ground Deathblow bug where damage to gears is ignored has been fixed.
  • Wither underflow bug has been fixed.
  • Freeze that occurs when a character buffed by Koga is targetted has been fixed.
  • All tools and their associated files have been moved to a separate directory.
  • Minor corrections have been made to the opening movie subtitles.
  • Exp and gold patches no longer overwrite monster changes.
  • Script changes up to Raziel's Tree have been completed.

Version 0.8.0
  • Script changes up to Golgotha have been applied.
  • The patcher now allows users to choose between 1.5x or 2x experience and gold.
  • Roni's portrait can now be chosen. Either the Perfect Works design or release version can be used.
  • Siebzehn's Grav. Cannon has been buffed from 40 to 80 power.
  • Yamoto Sword is now Yamato Sword
  • An Add Water icon has been added to Crystal Water's name.
  • Dan's portrait is no longer missing in a text box during his final scene.
  • Text boxes in the Ethos data bank sequence no longer overlap.
  • Rue Coen grunts now use proper dialogue windows.
  • Mumyo Sword no longer has an extra space between words.
  • Confusion status now functions correctly.
  • The patcher now applies text speed to the game's executable by itself.
  • The patcher now applies battle flash removal by itself.
  • Myyah-Elly now has her portrait when explaining the Deus system, as was the case in the Japanese version.
  • Deus battle messages have been tidied.
  • The shop placements of Zetasols have been reshuffled. Details are in the wiki.
  • The patcher now properly detects if a ROM is missing a disc number.

  • Script changes up to Merkabah have been completed.
  • The shop distribution has been rebalanced. Details are in the wiki.
  • Lasher GWhip has been replaced with DAdder GWhip. Details are in the wiki.
  • El Stier will now have 25000 HP when obtained.
  • xenoiso no longer requires a prompt to start the patching process.
  • Double "of" use is fixed during Elly and Citan's conversation at Blackmoon Forest.
  • Maria now has her portrait before meeting Zephyr.
  • Forbidden in the overworld map no longer have a bugged Gold Nugget drop.
  • The prices of Holy Pendant, elemental rings, Life Stone and elemental stones have been adjusted. Details are in the wiki.
  • Due to bugs with the auto booster accessories, they are temporarily unobtainable until a resolution has been found.
  • Renmazuo now has an Eth Circuit as an initial equip over a TurboBooster.
  • Seraph enemies have now been renamed to Aeons.
  • Vanderkaum has been renamed to Vanderkam.
  • Scrapped dialogue in the Elly corridor chase has been restored.
  • Scrapped dialogue during Fei and Elly's campfire in Blackmoon Forest has been restored.
  • Camera bug at the start of the campfire scene with Lacan has been fixed.

Any chance version 0.8.1 could be updated on repo?

I personally had some issues patching it myself and I heard there was a fair bit added since ver 0.7.2
 
Version 0.8.2
  • An option is now available to have Emeralda use a sitting sprite in a diner over her nanoreactor one.
  • eboot themes are now available for players emulating the build via PSP.
  • Deathblows have had their Hyper Mode point distribution increased. Details are in the wiki.
  • Dialogue variations with kids in the D Block slums have been restored.
  • Prison guard messages will close automatically when out of range.
  • Border has been added to the message when inspecting the sleeping dog at D Block.
  • Portrait has been added to Fei when falling off the train in the tunnel.
  • Skull Rod can now only be used by Elly and has actual data assigned to it. Details are in the wiki.
  • Aerods has had its description updated so "Active" replaces "Animum".
  • Ramsus kneeling animation in Merkabah has been fixed.
  • Overlapping windows when Rico defeats the Kislev guards has been fixed.
  • Deus' eyes are now closed before it is awakened.

Version 0.9.0
  • Script has been updated up to the arrival at point Bethlehem.
  • All graphical bug fixes have been added to the other patches. The "graphical fixes" option has been replaced with a "portrait fixes" one, which is mutually exclusive to the "resized portraits" option.
  • Karellen's dialogue to Ramsus in Merkabah provides more insight into his backstory.
  • Elly's spells have been buffed. Details are in the wiki.
  • Script and spriting issues in Merkabah have been fixed.
  • Merged story mode and script version of the G Elements fight has been fixed.
  • Wither and Weaken are temporarily unavailable until bugs surrounding them have been fixed.
  • A camera bug in the second Roni campfire scene has been fixed.
  • EP is now used in the character selection screen over MP.
  • Defense has been changed to Defend on the command ring during battle.

  • The gears used by the Special Forces have been changed to be more faithful to the Japanese version. Details are in the wiki.
  • Restored a previously inaccessible line in Dazil where Citan discusses Fei's aptitude with Weltall.
  • Game freeze that would occur on more accurate emulators when opening Special Options has been fixed.
  • Bug where Deathblows are unusable in disc 1 has been fixed with items/characters.
  • Bug where damage will drop to 1 after a while in disc 1 has been fixed with items/characters.
  • Camera bug at the start of the Fei carbonite sequence.
  • Graphical artifact during the Vendetta chase sequence has been fixed.
  • Camera bug when Fei sees the coward has been fixed.
  • Elly's dialogue at the church infirmary now prioritises a line where she expresses guilt about the hypnosis.
  • The game now auto-advances when Billy goes through the Church HQ door ahead of the party.
  • A fix has been applied to the scene where Rene arrives at the portrait room.

Patch 0.9.3
  • Failure to boot when fast text is used with disc 2 has been fixed.
  • Siebzhen's frames have had their HP increased by 5000.

  • The music change patch has returned.
  • The option to switch to Japanese controls is now available.
  • An option is available to turn off level requirements for Deathblows.
  • Script up to the Snowfield Hideout been updated.
  • NPC script up to Dazil has been updated.
  • Blackmoon Forest and the Av Desert have their original encounter rates when the script patch is applied without half encounters.
  • The room in Solaris where Elly is captured has had its encounter rate halved with the half encounters patch.
  • Timing of the dialogue at the Khan-Grahf reveal has been improved.
  • Fei now uses his sad portrait when he converses with Wiseman in disc 2.
  • Sprite fixes have been made to the Excalibur briefing scene.
  • Abelites has been changed to Abal.
  • Game freeze at the Stalactite Cave when the script and story mode patches are used has been fixed.

  • Battle flashes patch no longer turns off battle fades.

  • Fei sprite fade-in during Citan's chair monologue has been restored.

  • Nature's Rhumba now targets a single enemy.
  • Fixed missing portraits in Bart's Hideout.
  • Menu stats for the characters and Gears have been updated to match battle data.
  • Exp and gold patches no longer overwrite other patches where monster data is used.
  • Music adjustments have been made to Nisan for consistency.
  • When the music patch is applied, Nisan will continue to play Wind from the Valley near the end of disc 1 as opposed to a sped up Where Dreams Hatch.
  • Fixed Gear damage reduction bug.
  • Removed the effects from elemental stones and prevented them from being obtained from shops.
  • Fixed Nisan shop bug from the original release.
