Anyone had any experience with the original x box emulator? I plan to set it up on my mini PC
and see how it handles. Already got a tutorial video on youtube for set up. Would be interesting
as i never had the original x box.

It's a right pain in the ass to get it to run properly, and even when it does, it has a small list of playable games. Even a fairly high powered system will chug with most of the library.

and you WILL need these files to get it to even boot properly
The xbox_hdd.qcow2 file is about 1.2gb itself

Runs great on my computer, but because many games I want to play are better emulated via gamecube/ps2 I often end up playing those ports instead. And an even better reason is because those emulators have better features, graphical options, patches, and tweaks to optimize your experience.

I played a little Jet Set Radio: Future with XEMU on an IdeaPad 5 with an intel chip set, and it seemed to work pretty well. There were some considerable frame drops when boosting or if there were a ton of particle effects happening all at once- but overall it seemed to work pretty well!

Honestly, you would be better off buying an original Xbox and softmodding it.
They aren’t pricey, and with a few simple things, you can have any Xbox game on it running perfectly, no problem.

Ya, and if you get one with a optical drive that wont read but it still works aside not reading, can get them super cheap.

Know you aren't in the States @DjQuick2008, just using an Example is all

It's a hard drive image so I assume it gets bigger the more games you play. Y'know, savefiles, system data and the like. Chances are some games install things there to mitigate loading times or something along those lines.

Most likely, i dunno it was that size when i got it.
