Did anyone here ever get to play with this controller?

It's amazing how many games hated it and flat out refused to start with it connected. I only ever owned one, and it came as a "throw-in" with my console.
Yes, I had one in red as well!
Also how do I join the WWA

Oh, nice!

First step would be going to Tijuana XD
The Women's Wrestling Association is based in Tijuana?
Better make sure I pack plenty of  marijuana.

A ps1 controller? What do you mean? I played every ps1 game I had with one of these and never had a problem.

As in; not DualShock analog.

Yeah, I meant the non-analog variant as Kai said.

The kind without thumbsticks right?
Yes thats what came with my PS1 and like I said I played every ps1 game that I ever played with that, no problems. ?

One of my friends had one back in the day.

PS1 was high school era for me. Most of my friends who had one got it in the first year or two of its lifespan, before the thumbstick one came out. I think I only remember one person who had that thumbstick controller. Then PS2 came out and they were all like that of course.

I think the only PS1 game you even needed thumbsticks for was Ape Escape? idk.
Interesting that the newer one was apparently more widespread than I thought

Only for a TEENY TINY BIT within my lifespan. I vaguely remember a time where our chip modded Playstation that can run burned disc's we had the original Playstation Controller and we were playing the games that we had. That same system doesnt work anymore and I always wished that I can someday repair it.

I beat Metal gear Solid with that controller...
It's fine

Yeah the PS1 controllers weren't that bad. The D-Pad was a little rough on the thumbs for fighting games, but otherwise it was fine.

The MadCatz controllers, on the other hand, those were garbage.

It worked great for FF7 and Crash Bandicoot, but I’d never use it over a DualShock today.

Never add it, period

Yeah, I only get to use analog one later on because the old classic is broken.

The old PlayStation controllers were really good, the new ones are just bad and a bunch of pointless buttons that you don't need.
