Are you drawing it on paper, or is it a brush option on your drawing program? The lines are very realistic pen looking.

Working on my latest perler project. I think I remember considering doing this character but deciding against it due to the dark color palette - if you've seen my other projects of anime girls you'll know that Hama Midi perler with their vibrant colors work best with... well... cartoon characters - but alas I re-decided to take the challenge anyway.

So far I am very satisfied with the face, but god dangit I just can't get the hair right!!! :P

Thanks you 🙏 I'm not keeping time, but havebeen working on it around the clock for about two weeks now. A fair bit of that time being changing colors out because I wasn't satisfied with how they matched and in tandem what they did to the hue of the picture.

That's part of what I like about perler: the safety net. Nothing is set in stone, you can always go back an redo something, it only takes time and patience.

Sorry about the late reply but its called "㊕せんぺん_丸" on Clip Studio. Feels good besides Reag G-Pen that ive been using.

The secret to colored pencils is layering. Apply layer of colors on top of colors. Also use smooth drawing paper, any texture on the paper will be very evident with pencil. Finally, you can use a white pencil to smooth out a layer of color, although it might lighten the tone a bit.

Another option is using a solvent like nail polish (or even water) with a paintbrush to smooth out the color.

After playing SWAT4 I got motivated to draw RGT-tan in the Swat universe, so far im not done. Lots of things need to be corrected and adjusted. Fixed and cleaned. its pretty daunting with how much SWAT members carry.

wow this is really cool, i love the color gradation & the expression is really soft/subtle, gives a sort of mona lisa vibe. i realize im super late but i think the collar in the 1st pic has a nice amount of contrast to it. either way awesome work!!
plsss post once youve finished im so curious to know what thisll look like once its flattened out(? dont know the correct perler terminology lolol)
