Actually there is only ONE Devil children game on gbc fantranslated and only one GBA installment recieved a official translation, they arent as good as, say, Devil Survivor, but damn, they deserve merit for being good level entry games with actually good kiddyfied demon designs (Look at Tiamat, she is adorable here)

The guy who was fan translating it, lost his PC and pretty much all the progress and tools to translate it. So he gave up.

I am still clinging on hope, its the last VN i have on my list of wanting to read before i die.

All the other ones that were there got translated, its just this one left.

Once again coming back to this thread to express my sorrow about japanese games I'd like to see in english before I die, I'll add two more since I was thinking about these games just today, the first is Flower, Sun, and Rain (The PS2 version) I have played through the DS version of this game but frankly, to me, it's not enough, I need it in all it's glory, I heard this one is quite difficult to do because all of the text in the game is stored as images.
And the second one is Kyoei Toshi, a spin off I guess? of the Zettai Zetsumei Toshi series (Disaster Report in the west) where instead of surviving natural disasters you survive kaiju attacks, it looks really fun but I think it's unlikely it will ever get translated since it's a PS4 exclusive, since this game released Disaster Report 4 happened and got an english release but this game kinda faded into obscurity so yeah... probably not happening

i know people want all srw games get true fan-translation but it here true problem even if want bnamco re release srw game on modern console but here super problem they have to re license the series again so yay plus even if we want fan-translation it going to impossible because its super niche and not nobody dont have a time to translated game series so even we learn Japanese play it raw or just dont play it this reality we live

Kamizawa and Kanokon Esuii, first one Its a fun game about stealingand the other just beacuse I was a big fan of the anime. But there are lots of VNs that I would love to play and probably will never be translated.

wasn't Kamiwaza eventually translated and released in the west as Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief recently?

I don't know what are the differences between both versions but I agree it'd be great if someone did that just for preservation sake

Probably the OG SMT Devil Summoner, for a while my most wanted game was Racing Lagoon but the GOAT Hilltop (one of the best translators) dropped a full translation of it a while back

I don't think it would be difficult in the sense of translation. There is already 3 versions of SMT1 Translated. But i am being kinda needy if i say i would love a translation also for the Sega-CD Version and the Turbo CD Versions? I think is such an important game that i want to see all its forms translated some day, but i totally get if it never happens because well... you can already play SMT 1 in 3 different consoles. Especially the Turbo CD version being soo similar to the SNES release.

And on the topic of SMT... I really want the PSX versions of SMTII and SMT if to be in English someday but that may happen eventually.

Its overpriced, but it is a translation.
Didn't know this existed, thanks! I think I will wait to see if the price drops in some steam sales.

^This, holy shit so much this.

I know there's a fullblown walkthrough translation in YouTube by Johan Oberg, but this is a game that benefits much more from direct translation so you can feel the atmosphere yourself as you play, much like Rent-A-Hero No.1 on Dreamcast.
Seigiman and his "Smalltown Superstar" jingle themesong of a TV drama show is an absolute treat and definitely a must play by anyone who called themselves toku fans.
