The SNES one was translated
Yeah, I played it, but half of the content of the PSX/Saturn original was cut.
That only make mo wanted more the original version.

And also, I hear the tokimemo 2 is the real deal here.

Giftpia
There is a fully translated script but lots of trouble marrying it to its base game.
It broke my Chibi Robo fan heart when I found that out.

Too many to count, I wished a crap ton of games got English translations, some of the coolest games I wanted to get into aren't in English. I wish I knew or had a guide on how to translate games, I also wish I knew Japanese lol!

recently i started playing the "art truck" series (something dekotora), PSX, PS2, NDS... incredible games they are, every version they make a different game and all of them are good. i'd like to see them in an "at least readable" language.

having a translation, at least on the menus, would be enough for me.

The most disappointed I've been at a lack of localisation was the 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI. A while after the game came out, I kept hope someone would port the localisation to that version, but it's never happened. This is the one version I wanted to play the most. In the end I never finished the game on Steam.

Princess Maker 4 would be on the very top of the wishlist personally, cause it's pretty much guaranteed not be officially on English thanks to Gainax not owning its rights.
It's the most VNesque outta the five games, plus the design by Tenhiro Naoto (Sister Princess's Artist) pretty much sold it for me.

There is an English translation of PM2 for the PC, but I wish that the rest of the series would have been translated.

I can't seem to find an English translation of Shin Megami Tensei II for the Game Boy Advance, so I'll say that.

(I want to play it with an Everdrive GBA Mini and it doesn't allow for SNES emulation—just NES.)

Ran across ‘Yaku Yuujou Dangi’ well looking through the Repo for something else and oh my bloody goodness just look at it!

What’s most frustrating is that there is multiple different discussions and even someone who said they’ve translated it out there - but no fully finished and implemented version available. There is an AI translated play through on YouTube but I want to play it myself (also not a big fan of AI translation, I’ve tried them before, they just diminish the experience)

there are SO MANY cool Gundam games from the PS1/2, Saturn and Dreamcast era that were never out of Japan
particularly today I'm thinking of Kidou Senshi Gundam: Climax U.C. which allows you to create an OC and play it all the way from the One Year War to the F91 era of Gundam. How cool is that.

There's also the ghiren's greed series, which are beloved in japan and among fans.

Yeah, so close yet so far ::booshy. So there is a good chance it will get one in the near future, just tense waiting. I’ll check on it the future, leave those brave soldiers to their work. I can’t make sense of Japanese (I’ve had a couple pathetic attempts at trying), so I just leave translation teams be, they don’t need extra pressure. I tend not to get too invested since people have lives, they get busy or lose interest - I’m just grateful their even trying

Side tangent - it’s always so depressing coming across abandoned translations projects; I was looking into ‘Hikaru no Go: Heian Gensou Ibunroku’ awhile back, I came across two unfinished translations that had been abandoned for years ( felt like I stumbled across a house where the owner had just spontaneously vanished )

Apparently there's a Puyo Puyo RPG on the 3DS. Would love for that to get translated
