Will Sega ever release another Mini?

I think that the idea of Sega, or frankly most other companies, releasing a "mini" console in the form we've come to recognize these days is pretty unlikely, but I don't necessarily think that we've seen the last of legacy hardware re-releases.

With memory costs spiking, I don't think that it'll take long for a company to realize they could re-release their old hardware on the cheap with modern QoL features for the budget end of the gaming market. It would be cool to see them re-release a fully featured Genesis/MegaDrive/MasterSYstem box that included 32x games and stuff like that, if they'd ever managed to clear all of the licensing headaches.

Honestly they were all shit. I would prefer a new retro Sega physical game console. So it would have the slots on it for Master System, Mega Drive and Game Gear cartridges and maybe a disc drive too for Mega CD, Saturn and Dreamcast games.
That I would pay money for, other than that I don't want another pre loaded Mega Drive mini console with the same old games they always stick on any pre loaded mini or compilation game.

They released two Sega Genesis Mini and the basically unplayable Game Gear Mini so not likely.
